They are tuned around the old Mythic +10 difficulty so consider them noticeably harder than HC. This wasn’t the case before the difficulty squish which is there since TWW started. With GS 640 I’d say you won’t struggle unless the tank does unnecessarily crazy pulls your DD’s can’t handle from a Dps PoV.
The basic premise is you can’t flat out ignore mechanics or you’ll die.
Take motherload as an example, on the first boss if you don’t kick any bombs into the boss you’ll die. You can probably get away with missing 2 so you have some leeway but just tunneling the boss and hoping for the best will end badly.
They’re a decent step up, yes. Things hit harder and have more hp, but more importantly you lose the lfg buff which provides a lot of stamina damage and healing. As well as bosses have an additional mechanic.
This is enough yes. The only thing is that as groups are formed by players you are in competition with other healers for those spots. It might take a few sign ups to get in, or you can make the group yourself.
The gap is beyond stupid.
First because you’re forced to farm Delves until you have 630 ilvl.
And second because you have literally no way to learn dungeons.
This contribute to lower the amount of tanks and healers as they are more exposed roles
I would be happy to know how to gear to 630 without Delves (if you don’t Raid)
You can’t learn anything in normal or heroic. Bosses don’t even have all their mechanics and they die before you see anything.
So I must do M0 to learn for M0 ? Interesting.
No I don’t want to learn with guides, I want to learn having fun in M+ like before.
The point of my topic was the lack of possibility to learn dungeons before going to M0/M+2 so it’s a bit irrelevant to tell me to learn in M0.
And yes that’s exactly what I’ve stated in my previous answer. Learning by doing. But I don’t want to jump from falling asleep on my computer to I struggle my life to top people on each pack with a low geared char. Not to mention that as healer dying is way more impactful than a dps. It can literally make you group wipe.
If you have no previous m+ experience, step from HC to +2 will be very steep. You just faceroll HC and in +2 there will be deaths, wipes, etc. Interupts are required, you need to do boss mechanics, you need to be prepared for healing checks. Be prepared to meet these checks (usually click big CD is enough, but you need to know when these happen).
Also don’t be discouraged if you get a bad group (tank overpulling, no one interupting, ignoring mechanics, etc.). Just take it as a learning experience.
I haven’t tried m0, it is supposed to connect hc and m+2. So maybe start from m0 better.
640ilvl is more than enough for m+2. But I would suggest having patience doing all dungeons on +2 at least couple times, to learn the basics of them, before moving upwards. Don’t do a mistake of chaining couple easy +++, earn a +7 key and then fail miserably in it. Just be patient, learn and improve. There is no rush.
They are harder than they used to be in the past, basicaly current HC dungeons are equivalent of Old mythic ones and Current M+0 dungeons are Equivalent of +8/+9 in the past arguably +10 even in some cases. But It should be fine with 640 Item level more than fine.
