Are pets considered as additional melees in raidbosses encounters?
u mean for mechanics? no, pets are not considered for bosses, they are just “dots”

Yeh pets are largely ignored by every pve mechanic as far as i know, they’re their own category, not considered additional melee damage dealers.
Like, you will never have someone get chained to a pet in sludgefist, or have Sanguine Depths 2nd boss use his aoe on a pet and require the pet’s master to manually move the pet away so it doesn’t get everyone around it killed.
