Can only try to not be. Although I think they should still invest their time somewhere with more use. Anyways… To get back to the topic: I disagree with OP entirely. People should not accept griefing, at all.
Have you been reading OP’s post at all?
Welcome to the Rest of the Realm Club . We hope you enjoy your stay in the peace and quiet of an environment ab-so-lute-ly free of contrarian dragons.
Its a nice place, you will enjoy greatly.
I believe I’ve seen something about that guild on a Facebook page that describes AD drama.
Having people speaking around my posts and act all grumpy about it gives them more relevance. I’m glad you’re here “ignoring me” Zagkush.
As the person who has owned the name Inara on Argent Dawn for years (Firefly reference btw), I’m really irritated someone tries copying it and doing some like this :S :S :S
Unfortunantly this thread kind of devolved into some real circus clownery with time.
Are you sure you have the right OP?
That is from my original post.
Well, I appreciate the honest response.
I don’t recognise myself in some of the things you say. I have my own experiences with roleplay griefers and I am pretty sure many of those were not roleplayers as you say. Still, I’ll agree, we already have enough bad apples among us.
As for the PCU, thing is, I know a good amount of people who dislike them and often tell me they’re scum, but so far all I’ve had is hearsay. Nor do I wish to condemn an entire community for an act of some, not without proof. In fact when I held an event a while ago, one of them was along for the ride ( you know who you are) and I haven’t regretted it a single second.
As for memeroof, yeah I dislike those too, that honestly needs to get in the bin.
Anyhow, I wish you well mate, and should I see you in rp again I’ll still rp with you!
Yes.

Unless I understood you wrong? OOC’ers don’t do much other than grief. That’s their only (negative) contribution. You tell to not push the whole “anti-OOC” agenda because the same people who push that agenda experienced also labelling IRL.
But what are the options?
- Let them in peace but they won’t let us in peace.
- Don’t let them in peace.
- ?
Yet the context of your original post is basically just you chiding people with the most budget forum pyschologist shtick ever - and when questioned on what your point actually is you seemed to fall back on " err… yea I agree but … people go too far (by making forum posts) … making forum posts is too radical" or whatever
You didn’t really convey any information beyond mild disapproval. Like yeah wow nice one I’m sure everyone in this thread is very sorry for caring about their hobby enough to type out a 25 word post on a video game forum
Yeah… Its a horror story.
I’m quite glad I couldn’t be very active that time in that cesspit, so I luckely missed out on it, only to read up how far it went…
Haven’t seen a bigger yikes then that.
Pcu man…Bad…Perroy…Evil…
I’m now really determined to make sure nobody is able to use Inara on Argent Dawn for as long as I play this game
Afaik is Featherwind Nymi?
oh
oh no
I think this is a reductive interpretation of his point. The way I read it (I may be wrong) is just that many roleplayers (when speaking about non-roleplayers) adopt a language / an attitude that is beyond what appears to be a reasonable reaction to the issue and it drifts into behaviors that should be abstained from.
Of course, I’m sure you disagree – yet there’s no need to demean the value of point when it’s an entirely reasonable reaction, especially if driven by a genuine interest for the community.
That would explain a lot
What’s the lore on Nymi? I recognise the name, is it from a griefer guild?
Tell us a story!
