It’s not even primetime yet and the mobs die instantly, after each event is done hundreds of players swarm to the next zone.
If they started at the same time atleast the playerbase would be spread across the world, now everyone fights for scraps from zone to zone.

Having all zones at once offers way for more ppl to partecipate.

The amount of people who could participate stays the same - they would be just more spread out and not fighting over the mobs that much.
