I do not see changes classes look same everything is same easy as it was when i had 8 and was doing it to me it is same.
Idk how you guys but most people i know started playing it when they were going to elementary school/first school and even for them ti was not challenge and most in EU for me at least English was more challenge than doing anything .
As hunter giving it food doing some quests do not pull more than i can kill and pvp was same not much âextraâ you all talked about.

Rank 9, been trying to get Rank 10 for over 3 weeks now. Due to life and friends I do not wish to sacrifice, Iâve been in that position of âShould I go above 20 hours a day to reach a rank up?â
Iâm unemployed and play about 15-22 hours a day to keep up with the botters/Afkers on Horde side of Earthshaker. Yet I am struggling to get R10 through AV (And AV only, I am not touching WSG again)
Itâs hell, and I know I can reach the R14 if I get a bot, or atleast R13, but where is the fun in that? I like the PvP (outside of all the hunter bugs of course, you all know which I mean of the 100ish issues).
But yeah, R10 and then I say bye for PvP until AB (or until something happens with the cheating botters/Afkers/Alli Premades)
Horde queues are on the rise because of 2 reasons.

Alliance have started to almost all premade, through tons of different discords who allow a varying degrees of ranks from 3-6-10+, almost everyone has a discord available. 2nd part of that point is, there is still a lot of Alliance players who dont interact through discord, and just queue AV solo. These players are quitting rapidly on alliance aswell, because theyre getting completely pubstomped by horde and getting rekt by their own alliance faction who keep queuing and queuing leaving more and more games open with 0-10 alliance at start.

Even if horde players are getting pissed off and quitting the game, for most of them, quitting doesnt mean unsubscribing and uninstalling the game, quitting means. Lets start botting like every other player who wants to rank high, if I get to 14 thats cool, if i get banned, who cares. Theres close to 0 reprimand for botting at the moment and it really shows, people just dont care if they get banned. Because they know that Blizzard are either taking WAY too long in actually punishing people, and also the actual punishments being crazy mild, 24hr ban, 1 week ban etc.

Tasty coming from an Alliance player who premades (most likely), do you have any idea how many of the top rankers are botting to stay there? Even people who just bot casually are taking like bracket 2-3 spots instead of other people who couldve put in their own time and created a healthy eco system with brackets. These botters dont follow any rules, they do what they want and force every other person to either push beyond hard every single week or bot themselves.

Nah its fine, I enjoy premades and noone is charging me for it. Only real problem with pvp is bots. Keep camping ironforge, I am sure it will help your queues and premade situation. What a fing retard lol.
Balancing AV is impossible whilst Horde greatly outnumber Alliance.
Best and only solution besides Horde rerolling is to actually give us the version of AV designed with the honour system in mind, so that WSG is the better honour per hour.
Unless people are ranking, people arenât queuing for AV⌠otherwise if you donât play in a premade, youâre having to spend 16+ hours a day to compete(pugs)
Otherwise, people that are good at PvP go to warsong instead of PvE AV.

Yesterday, when leveling an alt, iâve seen a picture, where UD rogue with around rank 9 attacked some blue geared holy priest running to BRM. Priest managed to either fake all casts, or this rogue kicked his shadow school, donât know, but the thing is healer priest almost killed this t2/t1 raid geared rogue, who even had to use a pot to survive and kill this blue geared healer 
After this pic i understood, its okay that i got to r6 in phase 2 without really intentionally farming it, just defending myself from gankers most of the time. Even if ill demote to Sergeant its np, ranking in classic means 0 when rank 9 rogue can die from a player like this holy priest who just played better
Leveling alts till TBC and in around 1.5 yeah - more healthy ranking, even tho with old meta, but it will be more healthy, will begin

One of the reasons is that since the PVP set like everything else has itâs stats updated from the Naxxramas patch in many cases a neccessary items to get even for PVE. And some classes do not have any decent gear to get for PVP from instances and raids which makes ranking necessary for them to play the game.
Blizzard policy on classic patch versions seem to be this: âDo not include anything that was added in later patches but include updated versions of things from later patches.â
This is extremely IDIOTIC!
Of course in the original run of vanilla this version of Alterac Valley coexisted with Arathi Basin which is superior honor gain even to this AV. Adding updated versions of things is not for ANY REASON different from adding additional things. Itâs still changing the game entirely but in a completely unpredictable and mindless way!

Along with Blackwing Lair;
Add Arathi Basin to comparetively nerf Alterac Valley rankings gains.
Add Tier 0.5, to reduce the amount of rankers.
I disagree that private servers were good or blizzlike in this regard. They did cherry pick by having Battlegrounds in the game at servers launch, this led to a horrible situation where ranking was the only way to get decent gear for the most part, since Molten Core and instances was patch 1.0(Almost completely useless) while ranking gear was at least from patch 1.6. Rankers had almost twice the amount of HP and damage as everyone, the game was all about ranking, which was never Blizzards intention.
As a result of ranking gear being the only decent one, the people who had been using pissbottles since day 1 and were a couple of weeks ahead of everyone else, were completely undefeatable and nobody could hold them up in BGs. They also all knew each other from previous private servers.
Whatâs wrong with PvP right now is people are abusing the mechanic to play premade in alterac valley.
Full teams should face full teams too, thereâs no fun either side when playing full team against pickups.
Depends on which psevers we are talking about. On Nostalrius they added AV with the 1.5 patch almost a year after server start, also all item starts were updated according to content patches.
I remember back in the vanilla days where the highest rankers and wsg/ab premade members would spend their time between queues practicing 1v1 duels and augmenting their skills outside their main city gates. Nowadays at any time outside city gates thereâs 4 people dueling on the 3 or 4 servers I play on or have scouted (all high pop or full currently).
You really should permaban those people charging 50$, itâs no better than selling gold.
depends on the pool size really. if the overall pool size < 250 players, no one will get R14 ever.
Go to retail and stay there. Donât bring that idiotic pollution to classic.

75% Horde on this server. You and your horde mates have had the run of the server since launch.
You cant have full access to the outside world, world bosses, all flight point locations etc and then complain about AV meta being unfair.
If you cared so much about the AV meta, you and the thousands of other horde, who picked that faction for an easy ride, shouldnât have been so blinded about the huge faction imbalance youâve created.
It sounds to me like you want your cake and to eat it too.
