now this is nothing new realy, been said and speculated for ages, but I saw video and someone did mention this, so I started to ponder.
what if more than just the name is taken, considering Azatoth in Lovecraft myth is sleeping and dreaming, and everything that happens in the galaxy is his dreams and if he awakens everything disapares.
now what if Azeroth is the same, she is sleeping and dreaming, and everything what is happening arround us is her dream, and there is a constant battle to keep her dreaming or to wake her up, Titans do not want her to wake up becuse it could be their end also, or atleast the would loose control then, the Void if it exists, again is trying to wake her up, so everyone can se the true reality.
though it could also be that everyone is her dream, and nothing else, and the world is not even close to what it looks like it is, including the titans, but now and then someone wakes up, or lets says sees the truth, and Azeroth looses control of this person, like what happend to Sargeras, and probably all of the titans, though Sargeras wanted to end it, where the others wants it to continue.
the old gods are trying to wake her up for reasons we probably do not even know yet.
question is how far is the influence of the dream if that is the case then, does it go all the way to the shadowlands and or further or is it just arround the planet it self, and rest is reality.
