Ban AH mounts from BG

Seeing more often than not under geared players join a BG and then end up spending half the game in a safe area on their Bruto AH mounts. Please consider banning the use of AH mounts in BG.

They also need to reinstate the 2min rule as we have too many players not even participating in the bg and leeching off the team while running toxic commentary. Sitting on their AH mounts.

Had an afk/leech boomkin in a BG this morning (two BGs in a row) and we all reported him the second BG and he got kicked instantly without even the “Idle” debuff. It was a bot I think. Good riddance.

What two min rule?

Used to be that if you took no action for 2min after the BG started you would be automatically removed. For some reason this no longer is working as you can see at the start all the bots on AH in bases till the end of the bg.

Report and ignore them. The penalties for non-participation are severe and can lead up to a permanent ban.

It is your choice whether if you don’t or will use the means Blizzard provides you to do something about it.

Seeing as I do see players create threads for getting suspended and/or banned for non-participation, I’m highly confident that something is indeed being done about it.

30 Days suspension for AFK
14 Days suspension for AFK
Player just like you saying others don’t play PVP but still getting suspended nonetheless.

The topic is talking about AFKers and Leechers that serves no purpose in both Normal/Epic Battlegrounds & Rated Blitz, are you implying those suddenly do not exist? even if the threads above are Classic related, same principle should be applied in Retail as per the Social Contract says.

Read what I quoted in my first reply.

Thanks.

Yes, I’m aware of the fact that people get away with it, unpunished. The MVP here was simply telling to simply report those people who made unnecessary comments mid-games while idling or leeching, as every PvP player that is trying to win a game should do.

And then said that the punishments for doing it are severe. They are not severe and are way too lenient.

Do you think more leechers/afkers go unpunished or punished?

All I’m saying is that the ‘higher ups’ should do a lot more for the PvP community when it comes to the integrity of this game.

If you use Google, you will see those aren’t the only examples.

There isn’t any other way to prove whether leechers get banned or not other than either referring to other peoples experience or having first hand experience. And not all people who get banned go to the forums to complain about it (it is pointless doing so anyway).

Haven’t played Classic, but maybe leechers were much more common there than in Retail?

Yea its unnecessary to flag you.

My thread is actually about banning AH mounts and not players. Remove players that afk from the BG is what I said after 2 mins like it used to be in the past.

All they need to do is make Bruto mounts inaccessible in BG that just says “You can’t use that mount here” like with most toys etc.

It’s not asking for too much and as neglected as PvP is this is one thing they should sit up and pay attention to.

Wait. You can sit on your AH mount and what? I did not know that. Can you explain how and what is this?

Harassment against other posters is not allowed on the forums.

MVP’s aren’t able to “spam flag” other posts as we can only flag posts once. Typically, posts are hidden after 4-5 flags and a moderator reviews whether if the flagged content is appropriate with the Forum’s code of conduct.

Hint: It wasn’t, therefore it was removed. You may review it at your leisure as I see you continue the harassment.

Personally, I do not flag posters having a different opinion on the forum, the entire forum is full of that. And their posts are still up.
