Yet they are running multiple raids a day… Majority of LFG pugs are GDKP or Gbids.
I’m close to giving up with MoP. Blizzard just don’t give a crap about this game. Sad if it ends like this, I was hyped to come back to WoW only to be let down by Blizzard many times.

Blizzard is more concerned with people going afk in AV in vanilla than they are with RMT. In TBC there was content farming around a post Blizzard made about tracking botted gold and coping that they can’t punish GDKP’s because there’s a lot of innocent people that just really like doing dailies or get gold from a friend or something.
Personally I don’t care that much about GDKP and I just do this thing called joining a guild but it is blatantly obvious that when you have a pot that is half or even a fourth of the gold cap and they do these runs twice a day every day, maybe that host cut isn’t just being stored away to buy consumables.
GDKPs are great for people with strict timeschedules. You only need to spend like 200€ on wow tokens then you will have 400k gold and can easily buy full bis and progress on your main character even if naked and just dinged! <3
Theres also guilds and pugs for people with more time on their hands!
Thank god they are still a thing. I still remember raiding with all those sr pugs early naxx with clueless people doing tbc damage. As soon as I made enough gold with professions I only did GDKPs, that helped me gear my chars through wotlk and cata. If you have good performance is very easy to gear and pay your sub with just a few gdkps a week.
why would you pay 200 euro for something that will last around 8 weeks and be replaced.
Ah yes, the best example for this would be SoD where no one ever bought gold and no bots were seen ever and the latest example would be anniversary where bots are also nonexistent.
You guys and ur delusional takes that “ban gdkp = no rmt/bots”. Theres alot of people that didnt previously buy gold that do now to even afford to raid in classic anniversary.
You’re absolutely right, the guild i was with from the start of Anniversary had a few who bought gold, including it’s former guild master and his former assistant guild master. One of the members got a 2 week ban because he bought 5K gold in one go to get himself boosted from 15 to 60 and then to buy an epic mount but the other 2 i mentioned did it in smaller amounts thinking they wouldn’t get caught that way.
Naxx in Anniversary is so hard to do right now, consumables prices are extreme because all of the gold buying has inflated the gold currency in a huge way. Those who don’t buy gold are barely or not able to do Naxx right now.
I didn’t see any signs though of GDKPs being organized which could trigger gold buying but the boosting for gold is a huge reason to buy gold, no one seems to want to do the what they think tedious leveling.
I’ve seen the game without it and i would never ever raid again without gdkp. Its the most fair loot system of them all + you dont wasted your time boosting for free. Absolute win win loot system.

Most fair would imply that the person who spend more time would have a mostly equal chance on getting an item hes missing against someone who is in greens and has swiped their moms cred card enough times. It is delusional from GDKP supporters to say GDKPs are “fair” to begin with.
Guy with one post on a throwaway character to hide the fact they are organizing GDKPs is misreading the post entirely. Man didn’t even say that there are no bots, they are definitely LESS bots.

Anyway it is fair as they get item i get gold. Im in peace with getting paid for my time. Whats not fair is some kind of sr run where the green Guy is hard carried, takes my loot and i get nothing.

I attend GDKPs yes, i dont host them tho. There is definetly not less bots around on Anniversary.. if u spend 1h infront of a few raw gold dungeon farms, you will see atleast 35 different mages of both factions running the exact same route between the vendor selling and the dungeon entrance. If you want to try for urself try ZF and ST.

Prices are mostly fine. Yes mongoose is more expensive due to controlled market. But rest of items are same prices or much lower than era.
Gold is only thing that motivate geared/expirienced players to help in raids/dungeons/pvp. MMO games lost “Soul” mostly cz of community and u cant go back in time,u can try 2 gather some friendly community of naive melvins and play as u like, dont need 2 ruin expirience for rest.
Anti-GDKP’ers are just clueless cryboomers. On your precious boomerversary you still have pay to win raids but now you get g(reed)bids where only the host gets the gold instead of the whole raid or blacklotusdkp’s. These are fine though because they are called something different.
greed runs aint gona be fixed until we have personal loot only, until then there always will be lot of stupid people paying for carry
