This game used to be about community but besides that removing raider io would net the same result as leaving it in save the point for people “needing” to buy their rating so they can keep playing or feel good about themselves.
Should get you banned to be honest, i thought Blizzard took out the trash a while ago?
yeah, i agree. i can only assume its just to “have” it and feel like you can tick something off your list without putting any elbow grease in your own.
cant give you an answer as i dont buy or sell boosts.
just a fact that tons of people seem to buy boosts of any kind.
for a little laugh, yesterday i saw someone advertise icc and ulduar lockouts for “a chance at the mount”. like 500g a lockout or something.
people would just sell anything if theres someone who is willing to spend money on it.
agreed, and some people must be really desperate to buy that stuff i guess.
for me it just would take out all the fun in a game if i would ever need to buy such things, horrible development.
just like people who cheat at fps games because they get tore up and then rent a aimbot to get their wins and call themselves “pro’s” laughable at best and frustrating for people who don’t cheat.
Why? boosting is not a bannable offense, nor should it be, so why should i be banned for it?
same. either i get it or i dont. couldnt afford the long boi, wont get cutting edge and the faceless title, just to mention some among many things. i mean its sad, but i ll live and i most certainly wont pay anyone to do them for me.
You don’t really have any knowledge of the actual boosting scene so i don’t blame you for this one, but 90% or more of boosts are for gearing purposes, especially on alts.
That means that the FPS equivalent of buying an M+ boost is getting someone to level your account up so that you can play ranked on it immediately.
It is in no way equivalent to cheating to buying a rank boost, in the majority of cases.
it doesn’t matter what you say my stance won’t ever change concerning this and you can keep your condescending talk to yourself thank you very much.
boosters ruin the game and blizzard should act accordingly, they only intervened once because gallywix was doing real money boosting.
but you admitted to run for them so that must mean you’ve earned some real money as well out of that right?
and indeed if someone would level your account for you why bother even playing the game?
Then they’ll just check your armory lol
Only the people at the highest rank in Gallywix were doing RMT which is only a small handful compared to the thousands of people in that community, most people were doing boosts for gold.
Otherwise Gallywix would have been banned a long time ago.
bro you live in illusion…there is boosting services advertsting 24h per day, and like 20x in any given time. Like tommorrow you going to buy bread in bakery, thats how those people buy boost…do you think those guys will advertise if no clients? (those poor souls earn money to feed their families by boosting randoms) they pumped ARMY of boosted people, and reason why your score is not worth of respect. Rio score first created discrimination, then boosting services flourished
Is reflection of my ar*se into water of toilet bowl, mytic+ is not difficult content at all, its mostly gear check…its content doable by anyone dedicated enough to get desired number…Yet people will ask rio even to do m10, and create drama and discimination around it…wake up people, rio makes WoW community to became one of worst of communytes in gaming world, people become rubbish hidden behind BUYABLE score, discriminating others who didnt buy the score, you become bottom barrel…old grandpa says “dont judge horse you didnt raided” yet with rio score you judge anyone before play with…you are low skill coward hiding behind score, i spit on your skill if you need best geared and scored people to do the content,be ashamed
The rudeness is uncalled for.
8.3 is tuned towards corruption. An ilvl will not give you any indication if that player has any corruption or even the right corruptions for their class, it will also not show if they have the right essences.
You can see someone’s score, which is an overall reflection of their mythic plus experience. You can see the highest key they’ve done in the key they are applying to. Also relevant experience. You can see the highest key they have done overall, also relevant experience. You can see how many keys they have done in each bracket. How many +5s they’ve timed, how many +15s they’ve timed, how many +20s they’ve timed etc.
If an alt has at least 200/250 score it will also show the person’s main score. So you know the group will know you have some idea of the tactics they are about to face. It does not guarantee they know the role but it will tell you if their score is for tank/heal/dps.
If it’s a +8 or something no one is likely to care that much. If it’s a +15 or higher it will depend on what the group’s aim is. Either to just do a weekly or they will want to time it and push further.
Raider io is purely factual data. It does not discriminate, it includes all runs by all as long as you got to the end of the dungeon and finished it. It is like the armory only better, because it includes all runs.
I know simple way to shut up people like you.
clears throat
You want to do UR+20 and you make a group. Explain how will you pick players for your dungeon without using any tools to check their experience. You have 1h for finding group AND to do dungeon. Good luck.
as a leader i dont want do" gearcheck" anymore o look at wow armory all echievments and statistics if it is a worthful player or noob
Raider.io is fine like it is
And you are still missing 1 crucial point. M+ keys are NOT mistake forgiving(well depending on the level they can be more or less lenient)
Nobody or at least very few people claim rio to be perfect and flawless. But its the best tool we got at the moment to screen random Joes and Janes.
“Dont call me out for using a bad rusty hammer if there is no other hammers available to me?”
And since you are hell-bent anti rio. Ok then. What are the alternatives? How should I choose random unknown people? When I put my keystone on the table, I also take a risk. If 1 random dps fails. He can just go “trolol u sux. /ragequit” and he loses nothing…well maybe 10-15 mins of his time. While the keyholder takes the brunt and gets a downgraded key.
So please. Tell me. What VIABLE ALTERNATIVE FOR RIO you can offer? If I like your idea, I might even give it a shot since I am no rio fan either(i just use the tool out of necessity).
And please…dont start with “invite the one who has the prettiest name or the best transmog”… If I want to downgrade my key. I can just enter the dungeon->insert keystone->reset instance and puff done. No need to waste time inviting absolute random pugs who will rage quit at 1st wipe on 1st trash…
Yet WoW players worshiping this score like god, discriminating anyone who have no score to please them, forcing people to buy scores. maybe they buyed score themself…
Common inspection was way better than any score in the world, at least people wasnt idiotic and stupid in that time, if player have skill to get his hand on good gear, does it tell more than score? Alternative is to play game instead jumping in Stormwind and tryin to perfect group for anyhhing, again I spit on player skill if he need to have max geared people, high rio scores to do his m15…for me that person is a low skill rat. Because if he has skill, someone with not perfect score and gear in his group wont be a problem, he will look at this person as challange and overcome it, but since skill is low, and score is buyed for MONEY what else rat can do than discriminate anyone who didnt buy.
Lets check example what rio done to people:
Guy: LFM Atal dazar m10
Me: Inv
Guy: Low rio score
ME: What can go wrong, i did m15 in previous season
Guy: you dont know instance
Me: how is that possible?
Guy: Low rio score
“afterwards guy invite someone who buyed his score from boosters, and im wasting my time looking for another group in endless nightmare rio score decline loop”
This is an outright lie.
Most people struggle to time 15’s or much higher. I have the same gear as someone who has timed 28’s yet I’ve only timed 20’s. Whats the difference?
Skill.
So stop lying.
So you didn’t look at any of the information the addon gave you about how many runs they had done or any of the other indicators that are actually given by the addon.
In your world of everyone bought their score the guy with low rio could have bought his previous +15 just as much. There is no logic to this obsession with scores being bought.
First of all 15 isnt hard…so people generally not struggle doing it but they struggle finding groups, because they get discriminated…each of my m15 was like that: fake elitist guys looking to do m15 ; decline, decline…decline…decline…decline , for 2 horus of decline, no score and stuff…after 2 hours someone inv me without checking much.,…and run ends as one shot ! so please stop defending rio its cancer in this game which needs to die off.
About having gear for 28 but doing 20:
Well there you touched other cancer in this game, and thats called meta…i also not have much respect to people who demand their groups to be consisted by metas classes, like guys who go: “my tank must be monk, my healer must be priest, my dps must be rogue and mage”… for me those people are more abusers than skilled, I know there will be always be somekind of “meta”, but blizzard shoud control meta, instead allowing certain clases to spiral out of control, which certain people abuse, booth in PvE and PvP
Call it condescending all you want, but you’re the one that knows nothing on the subject, yet still wants to argue, you even make it clear in your reply that you really know nothing of boosting.
And how exactly to they do that? You can literally just turn off trade chat and you won’t see any boost chat, worst thing is in the group finder you see a lot of WTS groups, which you can turn off, but even then that is not even remotely ruining the game.
Of course not, someone already said it, but i’ll just confirm it, gallywix RMT happened at the management level, not at the booster level.
Because for many players the game only really starts once you reach end game.
If we use the FPS example, if you go and make an alt account, would you rather spend 12 hours leveling or whatever that account so you can jump in and play ranked on an alt account, or would you rather pay a rather insignificant sum, even in game currency, to skip those 12 hours?
Boosting for the most part serves to skip part of the gearing process, which i think is totally fair.
I think a better example might be league of legends, as it used to be and might still be. Needing to be level 30 to play ranked, meant that you had to spend days upon days of playing just to enter ranked, so it was not uncommon for players to just buy a level 30 account for 10-20 bucks, saving them several days.
