Wth is even a mark?
It is a reflection of your experience in mythic plus:-
- it shows the highest key you have done, whether that was on time or over time
- it shows the role you perform getting the score
- it shows the score of main on alts to indicate what level of understanding you have of the dungeons
- it shows the number of completed runs in brackets so you have an idea if this person has just done 1 timed run or loads
- it shows the leader the highest key youv’e done in the key you are applying to
- it gives score based on the level of your key and whether or not you timed it, how fast you timed it or how much you went over by
This is not an exclusive list.
If you are applying to any group you don’t have a right to be invited, you are just listed to be considered by the leader. If you play a role like dps you are going to be up against a sea of applicants. With higher keys the group may be looking for a specific class or ability, we will see more of this in SL with covenants coming into play.

He is trying to say he is the smart guy being able to excel after barely doing the content and should be chosen over the guy that repeat the content a lot because those are stupid or mentally slow basically.

Well, if you want to compare this to rio, then you need to remove the mark, since we don’t know how the player performed in a key. What we do know that one of them has done the key twice and the other guy has done it 20 times. Assuming the conditions were equal, they keys were all timed and it was the same dungeon at more or less the same level, I’ll take my chance with the guy who has done the key 20 times since it’s likely that he’s more familiar with the dungeon and therefore, statistically, gives me a higher chance of a successful run.
You think it’s discriminatory to take the guy with more experience when I want a successful run?

But isnt it actualy sight of stupidity , when one read 20x time book and still do 4/5 mark ? You see rio favor guys like this one, I see terrible issue in that, it not only favor, it disciminate others who didnt read 20 times, so we can say that rio even reward guys like him…
Look m8 if you whisper the song “Cold wind blow the plane” into monkey ear 20 times, even monkey will start to sing a song… but whisper it 2x time and if monkey sing a song this mean this is smart monkey compared to one you whispered a song 20x time
Dude is not school, people play FOR FUN. They did a key 20 times maybe because they were farming gear, or because they just LIKE TO SPAM M+.
Plus calling people stupid and monkeys because they like to have fun their own way.
You know what? I am pretty sure you don’t get to do keys because you are a hole, not because this whole rio bs you keep sprouting out.

Can you elaborate more on how you intented your example to be compared to rio? We aren’t clear on what the mark is supposed to represent.

I know what a mark is… I want to know what it represents when translated to rio in his example.
Success in a key. For him doing a 15 key 1 times means you are smart, if you do it 20 times you are stupid.

Farming weapons and trinkets has meant some had to repeatedly run certain dungeons until they got them.
But isnt the guy who did it 20 times also eligible for this content ? He is a potential applicant too, so it s not choking to give hime the slot.
after all someone with more commitment and experience will be favoured … because he puts efforts in it, that s sounds normal
For example I dont like raiding, but I wanted the curve mount, so I struggled to get kills one by one until I eventually got my Nzoth kill. Did I needed thoses other kills ? No, but this is the rule of raid pugging: you need to have progress matching the boss you want to down. And obviously many times more experienced people “took my place” when I tried to apply
No you not play for fun, you are tryhard, if you are playing for fun you wont discriminate, wipe wont be end of the world for you, you wont worship rio.
Most of rio fans are actualy guys who sit on average 14-18 m+ ,yet pretending and behaving like you are top 1 m+ tournament players. Disciminating anyone around them…see

No, decent “rio fan” are experienced M+ player who want a smooth run, avoid faceplam and carry deadweight.
I never ask ridiculous score or whatever, but not knowing the dungeon is no invite for me ( which is easily filtered out by rio, with a certain degree of accuracy)

Yeah there are people like this around, but is not true that everyone is like this.
I play M+ to have fun, when the fun stop being there for me i stop.
Idc if my score is 1200 or 4000. In season 1 I did not even do all keys, i hated the affix so much it was not fun, so i just did my weekly.
Wiping happens, idk who said it is the end of the world for me.
Also choosing a player that show a better exp over another is not discrimination. I don’t know both of you why choose you over another?
I am curious how you choose from like 5 tanks applying to your key?

If more than one tank applies, he delists the group so he doesn’t discriminate against anyone by not inviting them.
Again you not understand the point, declining is not discrimination by itslef… I have no problem being declined now and there, I decline sometimes, Im being declined, its how life works… However in rio infested retail WoW anyone become rio monster (that guy who decline). When I apply to group one guy will decline me, then one after him, then third after him and 10x after…and all will have same reason low rio, and this is the point where harmless decline transforms into full scale discrimination. Understand now?
