Hi everyone, so I’ve been working on my character background, motivations etc. And wanted to see if anyone could help me polish some stuff or give some advice.
My character background is pretty much all set in stone but there is one thing that I would like to include, as I find it interesting and it could be potentially lots of fun, is to introduce a battle-pet as traveling companion.
Some pets may be not seen in a good light such as the mini-ragnaros, but ever since I got the obsidian warwhelp, I fell in love with it since it fits my character’s style really well.
That said, with Dragonflight and all, I am unsure about HOW to make it work. In my case, my character would be a former Arathi captain, who would be sent as an emissary in Alliance territories to get to know our allies better, provide help and hunt down any void cultists. The goal in my mind was this would allow to strengthen bonds between the Alliance factions and the Harrowfall Arathi, and bring a positive image of the Empire across the lands.
Now back to the battle-pet, I was thinking of a scouting mission in the Burning Steppes, where some Void cultists were sighted (tip from Lakeshire citizens - Redridge mountains). But after I thought about it and, while I’m definitely no lore expert, I’m really not sure how to explain how an Obsidian/Black dragonflight whelp would find itself hostage by some Void cultists or Twilight remnants.
And I think the Blackrock Mountain has been emptied from any remaining Black dragonflight.
I’m not too sure if this would be the most believable way to go about it, if you guys have alternatives I could go with I’d be glad to read them !
