BFA is the worst expansion by player activity

IMO a thing travelling up to WOTLK would be sufficent, any later wouldn’t be worth as much, for a lot of people the lich king was the final boss of the game in a sense

40 minutes to find a LFR Group that says it all really.

I’d say it’s probably gotten worse because activision is pushing for a cash cow milk of e sports so there is that arguement. 3/5 of the original creative heads of warcraft are now gone, so essentially 3/5 of what made the company great is gone questionably forced out.
Especially when you see some of the streaming reactions on youtube of ex employee streamer rants. That combined with the closing down of lots of customer server care centres.

Then you have all the horror stories of the way blizzard are aparently abusing their current employees, tbh I want my money back from this train wreck of an expansion.

@All: Today’s first upload netted 1 641 updates, the second has not been processed yet and I am off to a Christmas dinner in a very little bit so I will check back after I return. For now I wish everyone reading this Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays!

I wouldn’t waste much time at all trying to talk sense on these forums, OP.

The numbers don’t lie. People lie, and they’re lying to themselves and others if they believe that BFA is only doing bad because “the game is old” LOL.

What you’re all witnessing is Activision at work. You may think that’s a bold claim, but it’s actually not if you have any idea how Activision work.

Activision merged with Blizz 10 years ago.
Bfa isn’t popular - everyone knows that - not sure what Activision specifically has to do with it though.

HOW? WoD was fun as hell when playing enhancement shaman but trying to play any class now is just a snorefest, especially if you’re an arcane mage.

AWFUL opinion.

Didnt say “classwise” said “gameplay” two totally different views .

This has been covered by jitto and myself via Mau numbers and the definition on subs , activity is based on 1 person accessing 1 account and going on alts across the board if am correct. A player access many characters but its only 1 person doing so. The information from November to December has shown a decline on subs but activity remains high due to people do alts etc.

Gameplay is the classes, gameplay is the flow of the fights. Both are tied to each other.

WoD had good CM’s and good raids that is all imho .BFA in my view even though a really bad xpac is still better gameplay wise .

No, it isn’t. The classes suck, you’re playing a waiting simulator for many classes.

I give up we are talking about different things and please stop trying to ram views into me .Fml ggrumpy much ?

You have no idea what gameplay even encompass.

I stop raiding mythic this expac due to illness so yeah i know exactly what I MEAN not you about gameplay so i suggest you shush up .

Raiding mythic doesn’t mean you suddenly become aware of what is gameplay and what isn’t. You seriously have no clue what gameplay encompass.

you are just a troll and you seriously havent got anything worth while to add to the topic and please stop talking to me about my views .

BFA has more varied content than WoD had, and its still at the first tier of the content, till end of the expansion it has a big chance to improve, and surpass the WoD by miles in quality of the overall content.

@Mortheria: Examining quarterly reports and information on MAUs is sort of macrolevel thing, while I am more focused on microlevel things.

Being told that a specific quarter had X MAUs does not tell how the MAUs were spread within that quarter… The pattern could be hill-shaped, u-shaped, v-shaped, a fairly flat line, clearly climbing or descending line.

While it is impossible to precisely calculate subscriptions from activity, there are still certain mechanics in play… As an example, it is extremely unlikely to have massively plummeting subscription count while activity keeps climbing or vice versa. Also, given enough public data, it is possible to make estimates instead of pulling figures out of a hat. You, Jito, Gráinne, Dottie and numerous other posters have provided me with valuable feedback over the years.

To explain my thinking further. On a macrolevel, I already know Q4 MAUs will be lower than those of Q3. What I am seeing on the microlevel, however, tells me that there is a POSSIBILITY for Q1, 2019 to look better than Q4. However, what actually happens will not be clear until April, when Q1 figures come out.

My microlevel observations do not hurt anyone and they are mostly meant as “food for thought”. I rarely possess enough data to say with 100% accuracy “this is like this”. Rather many things have to be taken more in the spirit of “things appear to be roughly like this”.

You have also read enough of my posts that you know that I like to at least try to have some background for my thoughts and that I am very fond of population, activity, etc. type topics.

He has to compensate something that way I guess :]

During job interview “Sorry for taking your time, we’re looking for someone else :)”
“nice 2/8M casual, I’m out, cya”

Just because you “REIDED MYTIC” doesn’t make your arguments more worth. What if you were the one everybody waited for to get the strat? What if you just wiped all the time and you weren’t giving any feedback how to make things easier/better? What if you just bought boosts? What if you raided mythic when current raid was farmed and hardly overgeared?

The hardest part of mythic is for RL to pick and explain proper strat. Everything else is just wiping and learning. Point me ONE mythic boss that required a lot from single player.
Let’s look at Zek’voz. Ok, darkness happens faster and there are 4 explosions. As pally (played as holy/retri), I saved Divine Shield for debuff+darkness combo.
As retri - pop cooldowns after 1 minute to deal with adds, stun second add, stun third add, dodge darkness, run as far as you can with debuff if possible.
Most wipes on your precious mythic comes from greedy dps players “one more cast” “can leave melee range” “but muh logs!!!”.
There is nothing hard for single player. It is hard for RL to pick proper strategy depending on raid comp.
Using skills like Word of Glory, Freedom, HoP, LoH to help raid is something I do automaticaly (healer’s instincts), so I really don’t think mythic is hard. Just knowing your class and seeing oportunities to put 100% of you.
