Big changes to WW since MoP

Removed baseline Spells since MoP:
Jab.
Tigerseye Brew. (Changed to pvp talent in legion, but on same row as FoF stun, so close to unpickable).
Healing Sphere.
Spinning Fire Blossom.
Fortifying Brew. (Made into pvp talent).
Nimble Brew.
Expel Harm.
FoF (Damage being decreased by a huge amount compared to MoP/ WoD).
FoF Stun effect. (Removed in Legion, made into a pvp talent and later completely removed from the game).
Touch of Death (change in legion to dealing dmg after 8 sec instead of being an execute at 10%).
Paralysis (Changed to 45s cd).
Storm, Earth and Fire (now a burst cooldown, and uncontrolable spell).

Removed talents since MoP:
Leg sweep (Now baseline at 1min cd).
Healing Elixir.
Chi Brew.
Zen Sphere.
Charging Ox Wave.
RJW (Added back with 100% uptime aura, less dmg).
Momentum.
Chi explosion. (Added in WoD, removed in Legion).
Hurricane Strikes (Added in Wod, removed in Legion).

Glyphs being removed with big impact:
Glyph of Freedom. (Was made into a pvp talent and later nerfed to only affect Flying Serpent Kick).

Why were there ever a need to prune ww continually, we had such a unique playstyle and putting the skillcap high since we had so many options and had to choose and think fast. But with the baseline spells we have in BFA i can’t play my windwalker anymore. I gave it a last shot yesterday, and went from 2.3k rating to 2.1k rating doing no dmg or setting up anything. Never have i played a more unenjoyable spec in my life. And this comes from someone who have 300 days played on windwalker and have always mained it since MoP released.

If you notice some spells i havn’t mentioned just write a comment and i’ll update this, maybe blizzard will notice that they have ruined ww…

Zen Meditation
Sparring
Combat Conditioning
Energizing Brew made into a talent from baseline
Buffs (Legacy)
Grapple Weapon baseline to PvP Talent (worse version)
Disable duration decreased from 15 seconds to 8
Swift Reflexes
Tiger Strikes
Crackling Jade Lightning being a joke spell since WoD

Just to name some others yet interesting and core spells for the enjoyment of windwalker gameplay back then.

Especially a comeback of tiger strikes, swift reflexes, and Sparring could put Windwalker in an enjoyable spot again.

Nice list. And you are pretty much summarizing what’s really pissing me off about WW.
It just feels so retarded to play him. And with the changes in 8.1 I don’t even deal competitive damage any longer. I went from 22k DPS @ Mother-HC nuke tactics, to 16k DPS.
But that’s not even the worst part. Everything just feels soooo slow. Like I’m playing an old granny. It’s ridiculous.

As long as Monk is not being changed I won’t be playing him anymore. DH feels so much smoother. It’s a lazy to play class, but at least it features good damage, a reliable stun (wtf are these 5 yards? I can’t even stun both Spawns of Ghuun at the same time with WW), selfheal (ok to be fair, since the rework of ToK I also got a fair amount of selfheal on WW) and most important: DH is still fun to play and reliable.
