I think it’s common knowledge at this point how weak chaos bolt is in midnight. It’s so weak that sometimes you can’t even tell that it actually hit. 80k for a must hard cast, in comparison to so many other insta hitting abilities with much greater numbers.
Chaos bolt should be the main destro dmg source. You nerfed wither etc so make it right and actually swap the dmg to cb. Look at MoP, when chaos bolt actually mattered. Today’s chaos bolt is depressing.

I think the best way to balance it is if they turn it into channeled ability. The longer it channels the more damage it do.
Honestly the biggest buff to chaos bolt would be to remove the green turd animation and bring back the screaming dragon head of death animation.
