Blizzard do not care about new players anymore

I’ve never kicked a new/inexperienced player from the group while doing dungeons. Not for any reason. I have enough patience for slower progress or a couple of wipes, as long as people are not being obnoxious to each other.

I remember all too well what it was like being new to this game. I was afraid of doing dungeons because I was worried everyone would start yelling at me if I made any mistakes. I usually try to defend new players if they are being treated unfairly. I’ve been kicked for that reason more than once, though…

What do you mean? Blizzards loves new players more than they should.
Thats partial reason why the game is ruined

At any time you can start a VTK and simply claim that player X is an idiot and in 9/10 people will simply click agree because that’s what people do, they see an agree button and can’t be bothered to read what they are agreeing to.

Just sorry that the same toxicity is displayed very well in how some have replied to your story.

My best suggestion is to look for a guild that shares your progress. pugs isn’t for the faint hearted or for someone trying to learn, your guaranteed to have atleast one person in almost every pug, who firmly believes they are the salt of the earth and unless everyone else around them agree, they will uncontrollably start ranting.

Blizzard does care, but the ruthless Activision overlords are making decisions that Blizzard have to go along with. People are barking up the wrong tree. #firebobbykotick

Or you could blame the Devs for the choices and change they’ve made to the game.

Under Activision orders. They’re bound by the wrists here. If Activision is removed, I am certain that things would get better. It would be slow, but it would happen. But it doesn’t help when people blame the ones forced to follow through on these decisions rather than the ones telling them to do it or risk being fired for saying no. After the recent layoffs, they can’t take the risk.

OK I’m not into the ‘evil overlord activision excuses every bad decision they made’ syndrome.

It seems to be a recurring theme. Many seem to believe and want to excuse Blizzard for any bad choices it’s made.

I understand completely that Blizzard has made some bad decisions in the past. I am by no means denying that. However, they are also not responsible for everything bad. At least if Activision was gone, any bad decisions would be placed on Blizzard alone and force them to take responsibility.

yeah every game developer out there is perfectly capable of being out of touch with the customers without a publisher pointing a gun at them.
Sadly the people who are responsible for both the good and the bad decisions about the game are too high up to take responsibility for when they fail. Instead the more disposable lower end people who were only following orders get the boot

Yeah that’s all fine and dandy but these days people tell you that if you want lore watch YouTube videos about wow because some people in here seem to think that playing the game for lore purposes is a waste of time cause they think it’s all about that gear grind and to become method level ppl.

That is usually how it works on a corporate ladder I know as I work as an accountant and I work with a lot of companies and firms and they tell me basically the same as you have but for their own businesses only difference is the firm’s I work with have some incompetent workers that are only crippling the firm’s and they had to let them go/fire them.

It’s not that Blizzard doesn’t care, it’s your approach, adhering to morality in video games.

When in fact everything should be viewed in terms of Wins and Losses.
