Blizzard PLEASE change the UNFAIR "Glorious Tyranny Illusion" obtain requirements

Dear GMs,
I wanted to share something that made me feel really sad after i found out about it.
Long time ago during Mists of Pandaria i got permanently banned for selling gold which i never did, so a month ago i wrote a ticket and my account got unbanned. I was so happy because i knew i had the best enchant in the game on that account - Glorious Tyranny by achieving Duelist and Grand Marshal (2.4k) in season 12 and season 13. I really wanted to have it as an illusion. Unfortunately i found out that you could only get it if you earned Duelist in season 14 and 15, which i didn’t get the chance to do because of the perma ban, which made me quit the game. The enchant was introduced in season 12 and you could get it from season 12 to season 15, but in BFA you can only purchase it (for 10 marks of honor from Shonn Su ) if you have earned Duelist during season 14 or 15. I didn’t think that Blizzard would neglect the players who gave all their time and effort to get the high rating along with the enchant in season 12/13 and give the illusion only to the players who got it during season 14 and 15. So i wanted to ask you if you could change the requirements of obtaining that illusion so that everyone who got it from its release - season 12 to season 15, to be able to obtain it. Thank you!

i think its better to just contact support about this. writing here on the forum doesnt do anything.

I may be out of touch. But wasn’t 12/13 still with battle groups and 14 Introduced archievments for specific season / made it possible to see who got his rating when ?

Meaning blizzard just can’t know if you really earned it

Yes that is true, but there are ways of checking that - for example date of earned pvp achievement, also i have the enchant on one of my characters which is an undeniable proof. They could at least make it so if you ask for it in a ticket and they confirm that you have achieved the rating, they could give you the illusion.

What if you got duelist in woltk ?
Then you can’t check mop date

  1. you have blood victory not glorious tyran

  2. you could have gotten it on a level 70 arena twink

  3. I never saw it myself , but for the first week I heard it wasn’t soulbound

They are not allowed to give out pvp rewards / rated rewards no matter what

Don’t get me wrong I hope you get it. But that is how it is right now

I understand what you are saying but i really don`t care how they can make it work, they are the game developers who should know how to fix their system. I pay monthly to play the game and as a customer i want to use the rewards that i have earned. Many players play the game only to grind mogs/mounts. The game should be fair for everyone who put in the time and effort to get a certain item\achievement\etc and not get denied because of a blizzard’s mistake.

It isn’t broken

Well it may suprise you but you never earned glorious tyranny. The one in mop was called different.

The one you want is from WoD. Blizzard giving it to a few Mop player is already nice of them

Which is why the choose this system. It was the most fair one. And people already complained to many people got the enchant this way

Again, if you were talking about the Wod one which turned into the illusion. Yes

The mop one never did

Mop : https://www.wowhead.com/item=98163/enchant-weapon-bloody-dancing-steel

And wod : https://de.wowhead.com/item=120286/verzauberungsillusion-glorreiche-tyrannei

I have contacted support many times for this problem and they recommended posting on the forums because GMs have no connection with game developers.

I think it s the right time of the year to beg for something :joy:

Mate i really don’t care how the enchant was called and if you think the system is fair. All i care about is that there are players who have the same illusion from mop i have achieved aswell and are using it meanwhile i cannot, just because Blizzard decided to give it to half of the players who have achieved it. They should either give it to everyone or just remove it from the game. Maybe you have never gotten above 1.7k back then and you have no idea how hard it was back in MoP to be at the top of the ladder playing against players like Hydra, Trillebartom, Dakkroath, Braindeadly, jimblazin, Taylorswift, Praii, Lazerchicken and many others. If you were at my place you would know how i feel.

I just told you the facts. If you still decide to feel like blizzard did you a bad one. Be my guest, it wasn’t my intention to tell you you are wrong.

More so showing you that it isn’t as simple as you make it to be as there are many factors mixing.

Do you really think blizzard made the current system just to laugh about players of the first two seasons in mop ? Or because they couldn’t find a better solution ?

i highly doubt that to be honest. the forums here have nothing to do with the developers either. heck, they have rarely to do something with the gms.

You were banned for that period so are not entitled.

Whether the ban was rightful is another issue.

It’s GM speak for go away.

I am highly skeptical about OP’s claim. Banning a user is not something they would do lightly, and the accusation of selling gold is a very specific one that I don’t assume can be a false positive, since it requires empirical investigation.
And OP did apparently not pursue their claim it was unjustified (probably because Blizzard was very confident), but just went away from the game for a while, now comes back, is graciously unbanned probably because it has been a long time ago, and presents it with a mild insinuation that this is proof it was unjustified, and then goes and asks to get something they only might possibly have achieved if they had been able to play, had they not been banned?

That’s rich.

Oh it is. I got caught up in a ban wave once and finally managed to get them to admit I did nothing wrong but because I was in a random group, a group they put me in, I was also guilty. It was only a few days so I gave up on getting the ban overturned and a few days credited.

Blizzard are a law upon themselves: there’s no consumer protection for online services.

(Those few days cost me my tank spot as one of the officers managed to get his mate in. he broke the guild a apart a few weeks later.)

Random group? So the accusation was cheating?
That would still be a very different thing than selling gold.

I contacted the support and they told me to talk about it on the forums so that it gets more traction and visibility, lol.

It was the DS LFR exploit . Not sure what it was exactly but somehow people could group together and and get more than one piece of loot. I queued alone - my first LFR.

What I’m saying is Blizzard can do what they want. What recourse do players have except take them to court and who’s going to realistically do that.

A polite go away.

yeah…and do you know how much “attention”/blue posts the forum gets? yeah…go figure. its next to none. no dev cares whats going on here on the forums, barely any gm cares. it was just a way to say:
