Boomkin rotation

I tend to fall under the dislike our new eclipse but want to make the best of a poor situation group. So here are some questions

So against a single target boss we stick all our dots on and maintain them cast two starfires to switch into eclipse, cast as many starsurges as we can then wrath repeatedly. Near the end of that eclipse we start pooling astral power for the star of the next eclipse.

So how far along an eclipse shown we stop doing starsurges (or is that question too dependant on our AP generation?)

When should we use celestial alignment(it resets the eclipse timers), at the start? after the first eclipse or after the second?

How many starsurges should we aim to do doing celestial alignment 3 to match starlord or more as it lasts 5 seconds longer than normal eclipse? And again how far through is it worth stopping them to pool for the next eclipse?

For now do Vision of perfection procs / arcanic pulsar restart an eclipse or extend one in relation to the starsurge buffs?

In shadowlands, our AP regeneration is ALOT slower, so the rotation will feel worse, and well, slower, so there’s no point trying to play the spec perfectly at the moment since it will feel different.

The solution is simple in my eyes…

One extra instant cast astral damage spell that changes the current eclipse instantly… and mimics a starsurge …

On a 45 secconds timer
