Hi folks. I’m still wating for blizz to put WoW token out for sale in Classic and TBC Anniversary ingame shop. I get killed all the time by some wolves, bears or kobolds, I always have to run back to my corpse otherwise I get resurrection sickness stats and equipment penalty, so I spend all my silver on repairs and I’m left out of silver to buy better armor and weapons from goldshire vendors, not to talk about having the need to get lots of gold to learn riding, new warrior skills and new weapon skills.

why spam the same topic two times ?
Sorry I thought no one from retail reads it.
No.
That’s literally THE POINT of the game. To NOT have it easy.
Don’t like it? Don’t play it!
So the point of Classic is to melt my brains trying to play instead of having fun like any game is supposed to be?
The point of Classic is to play WoW the way it was intended to be played BACK THEN IN 2004!
If you don’t like that old form of game design, you can simply turn off the game and play something else.
If you want fast leveling, easy gameplay and convenience, feel free to play Retail WoW (which I know you do, considering your lvl 90 Warrior).
If your brains melts from something like a repair bill, you should not be visiting auction house where prices are set with consideration of illegal gold selling.
There’s more to games than fun, entertainment doesn’t mean just fun.
Return to a lower-level area and farm 1-2 more levels and a bit of gold.
Level up a crafting profession that can provide you with combat benefits.
These 2 will massively improve your fun factor since you will then see you will be able to kill those wolves, bears and kobolds.
Im just playing classic for old times sake and find that I have to take things very slow. In the first 10 levels you have no money, no bag space and no gear. don’t rush the levels, I’m doing skinning and mining and using the AH, rewards not great but better than nothing. I remember now how frustrating the original game was, at least at first.
TBC used to have the token the first time it came out as classic so maybe its in the pipeline.
Welcome to the Classic experience. Just as WoW used to be, which is what everyone wanted.
Or so they thought, when they took off the rose tinted glasses and the nostalgia wore off, then they realised (but still live in denial) that Vanilla and TBC was a mind numbing boring slog from 1 to max level and only a glimmer of hope of seeing “endgame” content.
No amount of tokens will change that uncomfortable fact.
Sorry to say this but it is quite impossible to farm gold as effectivley in classic as you do in retail. For most people this service would bring nothing to the table cuz they don’t grind currency all day long.
I don’t have any strong feelings about the token but I don’t play Classic, I would think it depends more how Classic players feel about it on the whole.
Absolutely, and also please allow us to play WoW without playing WoW. I want to just wake up one morning and know that I just completed all of the content without ever having to install the game, open an account or even own a PC.
Come on Blizzard your true fans DEMAND THIS!
You need to learn to play.
Classic mobs mean you need to think and plan when you encounter a trash mob pack not run in and start using your abilities.
Use crowd control, corner pulling and other strategy actions.
Also… dont forgot to upgrade your armor, you dont get showered in greens in classic like you have do for retail.
Resource management (ie gold)is a huge part of classic wow, the token would trivialise it.
