Buff Arcane mage in PVP

Please could you look at Arcane mage in PVP?

It’s under all other specs right now.
Only 9 arcane mages over 1900 rating in 2s in the whole world. This alone should indicate something… right?

There were so many good recommendations for fixing Arcane from the few players who are still playing the spec. Please look at them.

Buff Arcane in PvE aswell, the legendary set nerf on ptr wasn’t necessary at all.

Here are few ideas how you could buff arcane:
-Blink off GCD
-Clearcasting stack generation while out of combat
-Arcane harmony stacks not clearing at boss pull / mythic+ dungeon beginning
-Set buff
-Increase radiant spark duration
-Increase clearcasting duration
-immunity similiar to paladin divine shield instead of ice block? for spec that heavily suffers from movement it makes sense.

The key thing that Arcane requires to compete in PvP is some kind of interrupt protection/immunity.

Arcane is heavily cast-dependant and nearly all of its base cast-time spells are in the Arcane school with only one base cast time spell (Frostbolt) and a single talentable cast-time ability (Ring of Frost) in the Frost school, we have no Fire school cast-time spells.

Since almost all of our spells are in the Arcane school, we have a massive issue when an Arcane spell is interrupted, we lose access to: -

• All mobility (Blink and Alter Time)
• Basically all of our damage (everything except Frostbolt, Fire Blast and non-Kyrian covenant abilities)
• The majority of our CC abilities (Polymorph, Counterspell and Slow)
• Most of our defensives (Greater Invisibility, Prismatic Barrier, Temporal Shield and Alter Time (again)).

And nearly every spec in game has an interrupt on a relatively low cooldown. in addition to all their regular CCs.

Nothing short of heavy interrupt protection or a complete redesign of the spec is gonna make Arcane viable.

Arcane got finally buffed. I checked “Russian Arcane”. He is known for being highest Arcane EU. He plays Relentless and Venthyr for very short kicks. As far as I saw he is also putting some stats into mastery as it’s very good on Arcane. With Arcane Barage Execute lego you can kill someone 100% with CC. It definetely requires more practice and effort than other Mage specs but it’s fun. Human due to being able to play Relentless and get out of Stun every 3 min. is currently the best for Arcane.

With such playstyle magic CC will be extremely short you and kicks as well. This way you can play Arcane.
