The most funny thing is that we never argued over the things Aellas thinks we did, this is basically just sims vs logs now. He keeps assuming we are saying that the results of his sims are wrong, but its the actual use of sims only thinking they are the holy grail and are factually the only possible correct information available that is the issue haha

What proof have you given of your sims though? You can set up sims how you like, actually can you provide screenshots? You have copy pasted text, how are we to know that what you have copy pasted is true or based on a reliable sim?
What kind of proof do you want High Priest? Clearly me linking a log isn’t good enough, so what exactly would be considered proof? Proof of what even? that I am better than you at healing, well I mean if we can’t prove that with logs, and you won’t challenge me to a heal off, then I’m afraid you are asking for the impossible.
Anyways I’m done talking to you, the only time I will interact with you from here on out is when you say something completely wrong to another priest who is wanting to learn, then you better believe I will bombard whatever post you have written in, until that person realises not to listen to you and your backwards advice.

U can maintain ur fc stacks… but divine image is rng. So, if u have a fight and high dmg and u dont get a divine procc, u r in trouble and getting out way less hps than using fc. How can u sim that? U cant!

You dont need a boss in a healing sim. Bosses cant be healed.
Just the damage patterns. Number of players. Movement and the position of the healer. Then the healing spell rules. There is no rotation for a holy priest. Just a priority list for heals, how to react to a damage pattern and movement.
What you want in a healing sim, is to take all damage patterns from all boss fight. Then sim against them for a duration. This gives an overall rating to the gear.
Its why using bots and a private server is not as good. Each boss will change the way you gear and the talents you use. It wont create a gear set that is high performance no matter what.
You cant even provide evidence for your own possition. So you basically know nothing about gearing a priest. This is how its going to be every time you try. I am going to show that you are clueless, TO EVERYONE. Its what you asked for by trying to harass me. Know your stuff before trying to tell someone their wrong.
Clearly you didn’t understand what I meant by boss, I did mean the encounter.
But you have stated its not a rotation healers use but priority list.
So why is wowanalyser not superior when it does use the specific encounters and your own spell usage? You can look at all your logs and use a stat weight that fits them all best? It gives you normalised weights so it’s really easy to do. This way its based on your own logs and not something done by a computer generated bot.
Please provide the evidence for your position. So I can look at it.
wowanalyser uses logs, one big factor is the deviation in player actions. Everything in an ecounter has to be close to the same for there to be any hope statistical significance. So you cant use one log. Also people social network. This means logs of other choices dont appear.
You need to find which is the best. This requires trying everything. Not just once but 1000’s of times.
For example, FC spec. People could believe that but the sim could show something else is better. All the logs would be of the accept spec.
This is why we sim.
