BUG for low level healers healing anything lvl 50+

There’s currently a bug in game if you are a healer at low level (could only test level 10-22 so far then i stopped as it is unplayable) and you join a dungeon you pull insane amounts of aggro, I’m talking 5-10k% aggro on mobs with a simple spell like a renew tick. Damage seems to not be out of the norm aggrowise. Tanks can perma taunt on cd but they will still lose aggro. As a priest mobs even sometimes ignore if you fade and will destroy you anyway, this seems to be rather unconsistent though. But it is completely unplayable to heal on lower level except if the tank is your level, actually the entire group, because as soon as you heal anything where your healing scales you pull ungodly amounts of aggro. Fix. Your. Game.

What version of the game? Remix, Retail, Panda classic or other classic? Cannot be happened if the tanks just run near the mobs (called body pull) and u use healing spells in this time?

Pls write more concrete things, facts.

Retail. It happens in retail. If I’m talking about scaling and tanks being over 50 in my group while I’mlevel 10 it for sure cant be classic can it? And remix would be a non issue anyways. Not sure if regular dungeons are affected too but Legion timewalking is what i queued for from lvl 10-22 on my priest and the only group I didnt perma have aggro was one single group where everyone was below lvl34.

Edit: Also “is this maybe bodypull?” are you for real? Did you even read my post?

But to further add “concrete info” for people like you, it wasnt body pulled it was mobs actively in the fight pulled by the tank (you can see the aggro % you have on the mob portrait) and if I smite them for instance nothing happens, threat varies from 0%-2% whereas the moment i put renew on anybody it spikes to 5200%-9450% INSTANTLY

Ok, just for your high horse i googled for your problem. there r 3-4 reddit post, nothing else. The conclusion is the problem with ONLY timewalking instances. Lots of players play other role in TW instances without any experience.

Avoid these instances for a little of time then return after 30-35+, or level up a remix char (its incredible fast) then convert to retail.

Because of few posting by this “issue”, most of the groups can solve it, your group doesnt. Well, what can i say. There r many ways to avoid this problem.

Lol who are you? I’m reporting a bug in the technical support part of the forums, obviously there’s ways to avoid doing dungeons, but that’s not a fix and also not the point of my post. This post is for devs to look into it

If you would read WoW articles then you should know with Midnight the tanks will have “infinite” agro.

is this happening only in timewalking dungeons or normal LFG dungeons too ?
I did wonder how I took aggro on headless horseman on my lvl20 priest

mostly for this you can only do a in-game bug report and wait
for example: Lord Stormsong in Shrine of the Storm was bugged for months(maybe a year?) and only way how to defeat him with high level character in LFG was when the Ancient Mindbender spawned player with it would jump off , because that Ancient Mindbender scaling was totally off/high for low level players to kill

I had this issue while doing instances via the LFD tool in Legion remix. Did that as a resto shaman. On retail I saw it while tanking on my druid, couldn’t get the agro from low level healers.

The bug seems to exist in every version of a dungeon, but since chromie time stops after 69 there’s less very high level ppl in your group, and zero lvl 80’s and you generally pull a little less aggro as it seems to scale with the scaling, so healing lvl 80 is the worst, but if you are say lvl 10 and the tank is 51 it’s still basically untankable for that poor soul even in a non timewalking dungeon. And since there’s many max level characters in timewalking it gets very weird since you pull A LOT of aggro whenever you heal anything.

But yeah wrote an ingame bug report already, just thought I might add another one here on the forums for visibility and if anyone would be curious or intrigued by wtf is actually happening in their dungeons.

The Technical Support forum is generally meant for hardware or performance related issues (i.e. the game runs at 10FPS, the game is crashing, or you’re having issues installing/updating the game).

If you encounter an issue in-game, you can post it in the Customer Support forum. Please note however that our ability to help with in-game bugs is limited, and that you should report bugs to our developers directly.

That being said, I’ll be locking this post now.

Please remember to follow the Code of Conduct when posting on these forums, and to remain courteous to other players when posting here. Thank you.
