In Season of Discovery, it’s currently impossible for a warrior to cast Rend if you already have a Rend on the target with a higher damage tick.
A very common situation now is with the Thirst for Blood-build, where you always need to keep Rend up. You will proc Crusader (or any other proc that improves strength or AP), apply Rend, then when it’s time to re-apply Rend with a couple of seconds left, you get “A more powerful spell is already active”, if the proc has run out. The negative impact of this is pretty big, and Rend does so little damage anyway that the positive impact of this feature is minuscule.
Solution: Allow warriors to cast Rend (and overwrite) even if there is already a version that does more damage.
