Maybe you should add firmaw to the list of realms getting consolidated?
I believe all low population horde dominant server should be merged with Firemaw (an open it only to create Horde chars) and viceversa with Alliance and Gehennas.
It would be the healthiest solution for the game, reducing server and population spread and having balanced servers for Wintegrasp.
Make that all low pop PvP servers. Please do not mix up the PvE servers into this mess!
I do hope that people will find their way to Hydraxian Waterlords and make it their new home. I have couple of characters there and at the moment, it is very empty. The other day I checked /who and found only 49 alliance players online. All the auctions in auction house was only 14 pages.
But, here is hoping that after realm consolidation as HW being the only RP server left, people will find their way in there. I have server full of alliance characters in Mirage Raceway and I’d happily move them all to HW if such FCT is open and HW population shows some increase
Just you thake it easy, once the pre-patch rolls out and people return to the PvE servers, HW will once again be used as an overflow. We can only hope for some to be caught by the atosphere of HW and stay there.
The FCT o HW should open soon - I too am going to use it for my exiled alts.

i wish that HW will become a vivid, healthy realm, full of nice people. the hope that celebras will survive is gone. sad. i personally would go to HW but i’m gonna move with my guildies to lakeshire. at least one char of me will go to HW though

Celebras was healthy, too - just not in numbers. 
I doubt, that many will come back. Those who left during the last “lets kill all RP Realms…” Transfers, maybe.
Those who left before, i really doubt.
I, personally, see only one chance: if many EU roleplayers/english speaking roleplayers come back with wrath.
And that not too many people who disturb the roleplay stay
A RP realm with lots of people who disturb the roleplayers, is not a RP realm 
it seems that many players from Celebras move to Lakeshire with their main characters.
I sincerely hope, that Lakeshire will become the german, unofficial, RP realm. Especially for those, who do not speak english

I hope that those - not too many - “overflowers” staying on HW does so because they like th (RP) Atmosphere there. I hope and wish for it to stay a low-pop realm, because we need those too.
I hope the German RPers will find a new forever home and not become too reduced in number due to these upheavals.

yes, i know. i just meant it as good wishes and “healthy” in a way where everybody can do what they like, like raiding, going dungeons, farm materials for their professions (not overcrowded for that like it probably will be on lakeshire…sigh) and so on.

Not that a blue one thinks, they did the right thing.
Just in case: No, you didn´t.
The whole thing with (all!) RP Realms proves, that, after all these years (17!!!) Blizzard still doesn´t understand RP Realms, it´s Community and the types of players playing on these realms.
And that´s sad…
They can´t treat RP Realms like common PVP or PVE Realms and think, the “normal” dynamics will apply here, too. Just not going to happen.
I am afraid, they harmed Hydraxian Waterlords (unintented) too, and this in a way, that can not be repaired.
At least the EU community has one.
The german community has only overcrowsed (middle and more) ones

Going to keep asking, I expect at some point some news will be released, if you could see fit to actually let us know what is going on that would make it a lot easier to make some decisions.

@Malou: No worries. I was literally absent from home for most of Wednesday and Thursday (visited a friend in a much smaller town fairly far away, one way trip is almost two hours total and about half of that time on foot) and busy with other stuff yesterday, so I was not able to reply sooner.
I share your hope that Lakeshire can function as informal RP hub for those who know no or only limited English. To those who decide to come to Hydraxian Waterlords, welcome.
@Vanillataur: The fact that there apparently are not going to be any TBCC realms soon, means it is very difficult to predict how populations will behave on any realm. Some people will likely quit, others interested in WotLKC only will appear, game internal changes might make population ratios go haywire (EMFH being one possible reason) and so on…
@Kaivax / @Blizzard in general: As other posters have already noted, additional information would be highly appreciated and preferably soon, August 10th is less than a month away by now (and yes, I know, it is weekend, not expecting anything to happen today or tomorrow ).

Hi, im not sure who to contact. My guild changed from server Firemaw-Razorgore and then Gehennas. I have changed my characters to Razorgore but im stuck there and cant change to Gehennas. Can i please get help to transfer my characters there? I wont be playing this game unless im with my guild.

I was able to look into a few things on my end and am happy to go over things a bit more with you. I checked into this further for you, and it looks like the free character migration to Gehennas has ended as of today. Unfortunately customer support is not able to bypass the migration being closed. However the server is still unlocked. Meaning it’s still possible to transfer there, but it would have to be done via normal methods. Thanks for reaching out today Ole Christian. Morning all, any news yet on Ashbringer? We would really like to know if,
a/ we are getting free transfers off this dead server, it’s unplayable currently.
b/ if all of the unplayed characters from other realms are being dumped on us on 10th August to make the server look ‘full’
c/ when either a or b is likely to happen.

The lack of communication really is a huge issue. Yes, HW gets to stay. But why is it so hard to post a short blue response to any of the other issues?
Like “Hi there Celebras and ZT, we are sorry to inform you that your servers really are shutting down. Bad luck for you, stop spending your time trying to fight it!”
Or “Nope, other PVP servers are not going to be added to the list.”
Or “These are the destination realms we have decided on for each server.”
All of these things have most likely been decided. So just tell us already!
