It feels like it was designed by someone with a PvE mindset, not PvP. The layout is awkward, the flow is clunky, and it doesn’t feel like it was made with competitive play in mind.
Personally, I think it’s a terrible map — and judging by the reactions I’ve seen, I’m not alone.
But if you do like it, I’m genuinely curious: what exactly works for you? What makes this map feel good to play on from a PvP perspective?
the map is terrifyingly for demonology, often even having the felguard close you can’t even stun a target that is attached to me. It’s enough for a player to be just a little above the ramp for you to not be able to hit him, and the demons often have to make incredible way between the ramps to reach a target, up and dowm. The gateway itself is sometimes difficult to position. However, I know that it is horrible for other classes too.
One of the few ways to tackle it is to play sideways, without going up the ramp, and use the column on the right to teleport and gate, but unfortunately often the other players go up anyway and I’m forced to follow them
I like it. You can do some cool plays with knockbacks and Disengage/Gust of Wind etc. that aren’t possible in other maps. Using the level difference to your advantage (or disadvantage lol).
Definitely better than Lordaeron or the DF centaur one…
Yes there is serious Los issue here, I once got cycloned on the ramp when druid was down but i couldn’t silence the druid cause ‘’ target isn’t in line’'.
Sometimes I also czn’ t cast on a target that is on my feet cause same, he is apparently not in my line.
It’s just worse than blade’s edge imo, beside classes with knock nobody really like that map
