Can i link co pilot AI to my character

Is it possible to link Copilot AI to the Details damage meter using a plugin? Details could effectively serve as Copilot’s brain, allowing it to analyze information and communicate insights in real time. And become my characters in game personallity also that i could talk to while playing.

Addons/WoW only saves data to disk when exiting so no. You’d have to get some program to read WoW’s memory leading to a ban.

It’s also quite sad too.

i think they will add something like this in the future nothing sad about it people use co pilot and chat gpt every day.

You should be very cautious with everything involved with such AI from companies. The amount of data they collect is insane.

Hold on, so having any antivirus or malware application scan the PC memory while WoW is running will lead to a ban?

Only if Norton :stuck_out_tongue:

Sad part is that this is all true. Today’s young adults are using AI to talk to and ask how they should live their lives and actually follows AI’s instructions. That is scary as, well, anything!

On the other hand, I’d love to have my characters to have some AI features. I could just chat with them, ask about how they are doing etc. and they would reply with an actual voice, unique to all characters and they could all have their own personalities. I mean, you can already have a conversation with ChatGPT and I heard one yesterday and I could not tell the different who was a person and who was AI and that conversation was in my native language, not english

The scariest phrase ever: Chat GPT said…

Between social media and AI we’re all…

This is clearly visible in X social media. It does not matter what the tweet (or x message?) is about, the first comment is ‘@grok explain’ even if the post is about funny kittens!

The idea is that by utilizing combat logs or details, the copilot could function as your WoW character that you can interact with. It could notify you when you’re taking heavy damage, are in danger, and handle various other tasks, all while having its own personality. Essentially, you could talk to your character while playing.

No automation features just playing a character that has ai intelligence would be cool and revolutionary for the game.

Gladly governments by now are on wanting to restrict social media access based on age.

Next they need to do the same for AI, especially because of schooling.

i think ai will be used to control every narrative.
the strange thing is how easy it is for us to allow that. and how easy it is for us to work for that.
ai said: this and that.
you was wrong (or right), solved.
the coming arbiters that can finally tell us the truth we are looking for, surely.

What I find worrying is how certain topics aren’t even answered by AI at all because of some invisible barrier being put in place to prevent the AI from even engaging with such a search/question request.

And I don’t speak of radical political stuff. Even some general simple questions are being sometimes denied.

Yeah, I mean, it’s crazy how advanced these AI systems are. You can literally talk to them and have a full conversation, just like you’re speaking to another person. They could even integrate this into WoW, and it would feel like you’re talking to a real person while playing your character. That would be insane!

it will come, the rpg games with integrated ai.
first talks, i think, cause it’s already ready, and then a dungeon master.
supposedly this will be applicable to mmos and maybe that will be the dawn of the next generation?
it’s just so creepy.

The scary part is, I’ve talked to an AI about this, and it could already do it through plugins for existing WoW add-ons, xD. I can only imagine how simple it would be for Blizzard to implement this into the game since they’re actual game developers.

I want a guarantee that I’m talking to a human.
But I suppose there’s none to be had.

I don’t want to bring politics in the forums, but i suggest to read what they are actually doing lately.

As to OP, i highly suggest not to, for it could lead you to a ban under blizzard’ ToS

This can happen with sites that analyze logs, but not with an in game hook.

Generally anything like this would be quite dangerous, since it can automate many things that blizzard finds problematic. The “notification” that you are describing is in part automation, and blizzard could decide that it is against ToS.

We can’t even guarantee that anyone else outside of ourselves on the forums are not AI!
