Can we ban Auctioneer?

you shouldn’t have to but if you want to counteract it, you should. if u don’t like the idea of doing it, don’t do it

You should not need to get an add-on to prevent the add-on of another player from disrupting your game experience.

I put different stack sizes in the AH and the bigger the stacksize the higher per piece price since people (me including) prefer to buy in bigger stacks and are kinda ok with higher prices per piece i would rather buy a 20stack for 30g than 20 times a 1stack for 1g

It is for price manipulation. Always has been, 99% it works.

If people entire game experince focused around the AH, then go play farmvile pls…

Maybe stop crying about addons and go to the root of the problem instead? Which is that the auction house interface F’in sxxxs massive donkey cxxxs. I cannot believe that they ported the 7.3.5 client yet I still cannot sort by “Buyout price” instead of “Bid price”. Who the fxxx actually bids on things?

Certain items eg Light Leather is free to post on the AH for 2 hours on single stacks. The price manipulation agrument is bullocks. It’s cheaper

Beat it, OP.

If you don’t like single stacks don’t buy them. If you don’t want to scroll though them, download TSM.

The real reason is in what the OP said; That it is annoying to scroll through page after page to get to the stacks. That is exactly why singles are the winning strategy for getting your stuff sold. Because people want to get what they are after and not scroll through pages.

This isn’t really an addon problem but a problem with the AH system as a whole.

I think this is exactly why some API calls were removed that LFG used, Blizzard said they would remove or modify API features(something in that nature) because the add-on had features that would force people to download the same add-on to not be excluded

Agreed (almost). Blizz need to either add a “sort by buyout” or put limitations on what these AH addons can do (seriously there are some OP things on some of them)

What is this? I’ve looked for an addon that does this but there is nothing simple (just crazy ones that automate stuff)

I use this script which I’ve saved as a macro so it sorts in buyout price instead of starting price. You just open the AH and click it (if macro-ed) or type/paste it in.

I haven’t tried any addons so far for the AH but I imagine they can do much better sort orders.

Blasphemy!
Auctionator is our Lord and Saviour from the single stack posters as well as the current bid sorting!
You would place the Actions of the single stacked beast at the feet of our Lord?!

OOOFFF WITH YOUR HEEEAAAD

Seriously tho never buy single stacks and eventually they’ll be too poor to repost

I’ve used the default UI for 15 years just fine.

Mostly I don’t play around in AH at all. I just find everything by myself and have alts for each profession I need. (of course not yet with my 1st char but later on I will)

So this is just one option but the list that can be improved on it is extended… Even simple buttons like : “Undercut competitors” would be nice…
QoL for Auctionhouse should be granted.

  1. While putting item on an auction you must pay %.
if the item is cheap to vendor 1item stack will have no %.
    Example copper ore.
200 stack of x1 copper ore for 24hours = will cost you 0.
50 stack of x4 copper ores for 24hours will cost you money.

  2. Average price for copper ore for example is 0.8 silver.
When i place ~200 stacks of x1 item for 2.45 silver, people still buy it very good - reason: when they scroll over they see only mine coppers ores (stupid AH system idk).

I’m active auctioner user, the main UI for AH isn’t that great for me.
THOUGH the 1 stack items are so frustruating to list, that should be fixed by increasing price for 1stack post.
1stack of 20 items should be lower to post on AH than 20 stack of 1 item!

ban auction bots while you’re at it… i’ve already seen at least 2 “people” on my server who are level 1, naked, standing around AH all day long with 5 minute auto-jump intervals, who will literally buyout my items (if i put them on cheap enough) before the “auction created” message pops up in my chat.

how do i know this? well all it takes is a bit of testing… i meant to post a “Dark Rune” on AH for 8 gold buyout yesterday, but because i was brainfarting i put it on for 8 silver B/O instead… and the guy i knew was botting bought it out less than a second after i hit the “post auction” button.

people who try to argue against this are delusional. the dude in question is clearly a bot, there is no way he could coincidentally search for the exact item i posted, and that on top of refreshing the AH tab at the absolute second AND search and find the item i posted within less than a second without using some kind of bot program.

funniest part is: me and a bunch of other people reported him 3 days ago, and he is still living the dream standing around doing 5-minute interval jumps and instant-B/Oing items posted for cheap.
