Can we get decent animations for Zandalari Trolls please?

I honestly love my Zandalari Troll, I can serve my queen with pride and enjoy my heritage whilst helping de Horde. The walking and running however, this is really ugly animation. I got this character all the way to Zul Aman so i could compare height and also see just how smol my Night Elf actually is. I love my Night Elf, but she is smol and doesn’t have the rich culture that Zandalar does. My Nelf has just spent a millennia crawling through bushes and chasing bugs, so uncultured. She has a sexy walk and run though, she just moves well.

Why can’t we have decent anims? the Darkspear Trolls move quite well, so I don’t really understand why Zandalar run like they are Roblox. It’s so sad. The grand empire, the most magnificent of Trolls and yet our ability to run is just ugly.

Excuse you , elves are the most sophisticated specie to ever exist in azeroth culture and vulpera were born to be their pets . :dracthyr_uwu:

I get the feeling.

My shaman will only ever be a Zandalari Troll and my only nitpicky grievance is their run style. Sometimes with larger transmogs, it really does feel like a brick wall moving with tiny steps.

The skeleton’s other animations are worth the trouble at least, in my opinion. Just love their unique set that remained all the way since their updated reveal in Mists of Pandaria.

I could say the same for female Draenei.

Their running animation looks goofy from all angles besides behind and top. Way too jumpy in how head and torso move.

Also, why the hell does their head move to the sides when looking from the front? When I am running, my head stays centered. It’s not flaying around.

The sprint/speed animation actually looks much better.

On male Draenei the running animation can look a bit too slow. As if he is running in Slowmotion.

Blizzard really needs to find a proper pacing for them.

I’ve definitely seen comments about the running animation before. I can kinda see it I guess, but personally don’t mind.

I play male zandalari. Thier run animation still for me good.
But cant help with female zandalari’s run.

Blizzard really should consider exploring animation sets. I would definitely pay 20€ one-time to buy an animation set that alters my Walk/Run/Combat stance/Auto Attack animations to be more grounded and less “jumpy”.

ESO does something similar with “Personalities”. Sounds to me like a good deal tbh.

Baby goats make my melt heart

Didn’t know Zandalari have crucibles for hearts.

I mean that would be great (not sure if I would pay for it tho), they can also look at the female humie run animation while they’re at it, cuz it looks more like a waddle. :dracthyr_lulmao:

While it’s not necessarily just humans, I do think Blizzard should have a look at Destiny animation reels and better understand the “center of gravity” on their character models.

I think probably the best running animations the Orcs do have in WoW.

And it’s not like Blizzard animators can’t produce good results. Just look at this reel from Rebecca Oxford.

Another one would by from Kyle Kenworthy.

To give a better example from Filming… The Hobbit and how the Dwarves were instructed to move.

I knew it was gonna be about the run. I hate the male run too, so I feel you.

With a cape it’s even worse. I know there is movement in the cloth, but it still looks like a waddling penguin from behind.

It really does!
