Can you create a fun rogue specialization?

There isn’t a single one that’s fun. All three of them are very boring since the pre-patch.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with sub rogue. Maybe the class is just not for you.

Playing rogue 20 years. I know and have known all the rogues, and right now all the specs are boring as hell

Rotations are not gameplay, fighting bosses and other players is gameplay.

I undertand that some players have the need to play the “hardest“ and least played class in the game to feel special. That’s just unhealthy and i’m glad Blizzard is now discouraging that kind of gatekeeping. Having a rogue spec as easy to pick up as bm hunter will be good for the class long term.

In my case, I won’t play it anymore if it stays this boring. So more than being good in the long run, it will be bad

New sub is perfection if you only want to win easy pressing 2 buttons, which, in the long run, ends up making the spec boring because it doesn’t supose a challenge or require any effort.

Personally, I’m enjoying assa almost as much as in last years because it has only lost the interaction with shiv, and I like not having to worry about tea’s charges to improve my mastery. The rest of the rotation is as fluid as ever, and at level 90 it improves even more.

Definitely, after playing Outlaw for a couple of dungeons, it feels clunky.

I’m happy to disagree. I think all 3 specs are good fun.

The only thing I don’t like about outlaw is roll the bones, it’s a nuisance maintenance buff.

I’m strongly considering maining rogue for season 1. The last time I mained rogue was during Cata.

Ok, but what do you mean by that? What exactly is boring? How Blizz could help you without getting a constructive opinion?

I’m very happy my Sub is more simple and still deadly. I’m also understand all who want more complexity. As I stated in other post - the sweet spot would be by giving players a choice between those two approaches: ‘easy to play, hard to master’ - you could pick more active abilities and get more control over your rotation, or just pick more passives version of it and just enjoy the rest of the game.
