Say what you want but that 10% nerf is big even though it doesn’t sound like it. You can really feel some bosses being less horrible (like 2nd boss in SD).
It’s definitely one of the most poorly thought out and annoying affix. I don’t bother with M+ while its up.
You still need to do them. For GV and whatnot. I have pushed a couple of keys on tyrannical myself. Granted I haven’t really started with the 17 and 18 keys yet though
It’s kind of disappointing to be honest.
I don’t like mythic+. The whole concept of affixes are extremely unsatisfying to me. And to top it all off, It’s a timed content which makes it even less fun.
I wish we had an equally viable source of gearing from raids.
tyrannical is definitly easier on “lower keys”, and starts to be hard when people die from one hit if they dont go bearform+bark etc.
LOL what did i just read? You do know hc gives 3 ilvl higher than M+ right. Also those doing mythic raids will gear faster than those doing only M+ which give s 1 item 226 per week. What more do you wantthanthat??

tyranical is a week that requires group to do mechanics on bosses instead just burn boss during BL.
most people fail on mechanics. and if fight drags group wipes.
on fortified only people who feel affix are tanks and healers.
on tyranical dps feel the mechanics too and then they complain .
still what is really to blame is nerfed itlv of drops in m+ and lack of TF .
people no longer overgear everything and they cannot pretend anymore to be those uber gods of pve - when in fact they are just average players with more time to play .
they just relaise it - some blame it on affixes . others on others in group . but nobody wants to admit that they are those who play subpar.
and i say it as very very average player who realises his shortcomings.
what is horrible about this boss ? orbs fly on fixed patters and if all focus add it dies instantly .
it’s just a very fast paced fight with 0 leniency on mechanics. add overlaps with castigate and you practically die in 2-3 ticks if you didn’t pre-pop defensives, positioning super important and one person messing up can just get himself or others killed, add not focused down fast enough and ur killing the whole group (thankfully the add nerf helped a ton).

That nerf changed nothing, the problem was if you wipe (which basically every mechanic 1 shots due 15% increased damage) keystone is over because you lose Bloodlust and Pride.
I’m glad I don’t feel to need for higher keys. Just doing one or two 14s or 15s a week so the affixes don’t matter and everything feels the same.
Been trying SD a few times, seen it all…boss one, parties pops all orbs almost at once…boss two, targeted player stays in group range…boss 3, I ended up picking 1 yellow orb, rest is simply taken…
Not really. It would be because the dungeon design is always the same, lots of trash pack of 3-4 mobs and then boss.
The points where ST matter with big adds or minibosses are very little.
Personally i like the TOP gauntlet with the 3 fat adds. It could have been done more in this direction without having to stick to another xpac of tyrannical that is a no go over a certain point just by numbers.
tyrannical doesnt need to be nerfed.
fortified and tyrannical need to both be removed and then dungeons tuned accordingly after that’s gone.
boom, no more ridiculous dungeons that are impossible to tune.
so just like tanks feel on every single trashpack during fortified ? 2-3 ticks when you are out of def cds and not kiting you are dead

I guess it could be looked at in a similar way yeah. tanks definitely need to be fixed as well. not having the most fun spamming my 8-9k shadow mends into a tank on fort weeks just for him to drop from 60% in 1 global as soon as his cooldowns drop in the middle of a pull
I don’t know if you consider 16+ keys low, but tyrannical is not a problem on 16 keys, especially after these nerfs
Hey, yeah I agree with your point of how trash mostly work. More ToP like dungeons would be better. Still, I don’t see why there is all this hatred against tyrannical tbh. Maybe not from you, but from others. Tyrannical is manageable, just more challenging and certain bosses maybe need some more tuning when tyrannical. E.g. 1st boss SD before nerfs during tyrannical was just bonkers.
It’s time for blizzard to remove fortified and tyrannical from the rotation. They add nothing of value. If they want scaling to be more difficulty, we’ll go do keys that are 3 levels higher. If that’s a problem, increase the required keys for ilvls as well.
Consistent scaling with affixes is 100x better than the odd boss or mob pack scaling that introduces the constant need of tweaking numbers for certain pulls/bosses.
