The default gun sound effects are horrible lol.
look for an addon called OldGunSounds I use it all the time.
Ahhh! And you can replace the sounds in that file for different gun sounds. That’s awesome got a shotgun sound now aha.

Agreed - I hate the fact that all guns sound like a mosquito farting every time I fire it.
