I wonder what will happen to the Cataclysm Legendary quest in shadowlands like i’ve been thinking of leveling a rogue twinking at 85 just to get the transmog daggers even checked if you can still get them… and you can but you have to be level 85 so yeah i have no clue what will happen when the new max level is 60?
Following a pretty basic logic, you can come to the conclusion that the level requirement will also go down… I’m not sure if you thought this through.

Lol Not all the expansions content but… Legendary quests have been removed throughout the history of wow Such as the MOP, Dreanor And Classic legendaries. theres alot of stuff thats been cut either for being outdated or just because blizzard want the legendaries to be Less common througout the playerbase. its kinda sad because legendary quests are honestly one of the best things in wow, they make you work for stuff that can take weeks even months to complete but the feeling you get when you farm all of it and get rewarded. theres no feeling like it.

I don’t think there has been a single legendary that has been cut after the expansion is over (meaning, they haven’t suddenly removed old legendaries). As for your examples, all of those were removed at the end of their own expansions and this was known during the expansion as well.
Anyways, in context of your original question: the answer is almost a definitive no, and the fact that there will be a level squish shouldn’t affect this fact (Blizzard will have to do this for all other items as well, there is no reason to make an exception). Now I’ll give you this much: Blizzard has in the past made decisions that seemingly made absolutely no sense, so there is never going to be a 0% that they won’t do this. However, they would still most likely inform you very well before-hand.
EDIT: Atiesh is actually to my knowledge the one and single legendary that has been removed in a later patch, but that was due to Naxxramas getting a revamp.

Theres actually three that have been removed Its a pretty safe bet that blizzard will just not have the energy to change the quests to work with the new level system and will just cut it instead has happened many times and honestly blizzard has a pretty good reputation of just being like Work? nah just cut it… though i hope this isnt the case
legit just contradicted yourself like 3 times in this reply, its “definitely no” or “there is never going to be a 0% that they won’t” like it either is or isn’t and then “I don’t think there’s been a single legendary that has been cut after the expansion” then you edit that there have been legendaries cut at the respective ends of expansions and other older legendaries. so the answer is we don’t know,
like if you don’t know then why spout a bunch of nonsense saying that essentially “your question is stupid” then contradicting yourself into the corner of IDK/ it could happen like absolutely no help.
I mentioned both of those, and said that they were removed AT THE END of their expansion, which was known. I’m pretty sure I clearly explained the difference there. I did also mention Atiesh, but okay. Good examples. If you’re not even going to read what I write then whatever.
Also, to gaggles: I decided to humor the idea for a moment. And if someone asked whether WoW will be removed tomorrow: the answer would still be a definitive no even though it is possible that it would happen. I don’t know how this is hard to understand. I feel like you guys are not reading what I write at all and then jump to your own conclusions.
At the end of the day, I would consider OP’s original question very silly at the very least. Because it is based on complete speculation that has no previous base anywhere (Blizzard has never removed legendaries in this fashion: do not compare this to MoP or WoD or even Atiesh, the circumstances were completely different). And I’ve given a lot of reasons as to why this wouldn’t happen: if they’re going to be too “lazy” to properly implement old legendaries: know what? All old quest lines and items will also be unusable, because they’re exactly the same thing! I really really feel like this isn’t hard to understand, which is why I’m surprised at you both.
