CD tracker is cool, but what about a resource tracker?

I personally really enjoy the change of ditching WA’s and addons in general, as much as I used them admittedly, and use WoW’s CD tracker instead. Though I did stop using it eventually because it was loading up spells I wasn’t talented in every time I went into a loading screen so I had to fix it by going in and out of edit mode after every loading screen (including M+).

But it’s lead me to think that I would really love to see a feature to track our resources in the same way as CD’s. So we can keep better track of things like combo points for rogues, soul shards for warlock, holy power for paladin, or rage for warrior, fury for DH, etc.

I was wondering if anyone felt the same way about this or felt like this feature should definitely be considered to be implemented. I personally am not a fan of the small visuals of resources under our player portrait compared to our CD tracker (my eyesight is also not the best anymore) and resources are quite an important aspect of gameplay of most classes in the game!

Let me know what you guys think of this!

The Personal Resource Bar with health and power feels really lackluster. I hope there will be an option to customize it much more — similar to WeakAura packages like NaowhUI or QuaziiUI. I’m also fairly disappointed with the customization options for the CD Tracker and overall UI, based on what I’ve seen in other people’s Alpha gameplay. I can’t test them myself without Alpha access, but as a long-time AddOn user, it’ll be difficult to get used to customizing the standard UI.

I do agree, the customisation options of the CD tracker are quite disappointing. As are most of the UI elements. I use SUI and other addons to keep my UI looking clean and nice, though I do wish we could specifically adjust the space between our CD’s that we track through the Edit Mode— That, and definitely a better indicator for resources!
