Changes to Purchasable Game Time Options for the British Pound (GBP)

Your choice to be an apologist, not mine… I have stopped making allowances for bourgeois liberals, who are happy enough to excuse the Right-wing’s behaviour, while attempting to gaslight me.
Leavers have cost me a very large sum in lost wages, since 2016… which let’s not forget were taxable and contributing to the Social Services that have been slashed, by the same Tory Government responsible for this mess, who keep getting voted back in, to carry on doing what Leavers keep complaining about, by Leavers.
So, I have very, very good reasons for being very angry about the situation.

Yet another idiotic decision by this sham company

Source is Bellurgaming that last year when Blizzard employees went of strike. Its very old news sorry Dottie thought you knew.

:man_facepalming:

I’m supposed to shut up and empathise with your Ivory Tower opinions, apologism for xenophobes and gaslighting, while taking a serious financial hit?
I can see why that appeals to you, as the preferred ‘solution’…keep waving the plastic Union Jack (made in China).
:man_facepalming:

I’m located in the EU, but use GBP as account currency.
Now the shop only offers me to purchase game time via EUR.
I want to use my Blizzard balance to purchase game time in GBP, but don’t have that option. Everything else in the shop is available in GBP, just not the game time.
Please help!

amazing. well, as a certain individual reported me for asking them to be quiet while they continued to post their intolerant hypercritical and racist comments, even AFTER i tried to disengage from the convo twice, i will be reporting all antagonistic anti brexit comments in this thread.

we either all follow the same rules, or we all dont. you cant pick and choose. and again, i find the hate and bile aimed at ALL people who voted brexit quite disgusting. we all agree there are some :poop:'s who voted that way, but there are many others who didn’t. lumping them all as racists etc is just hypercritical, but those people yelling the loudest all the time just cant see this being the case.

i hate resorting to this, but rules are for everyone, not just one side.

and again, no one seems to be addressing the issue that the payment for 30, 90 & 180 time came from blizzard balance, not a specific payment for that time. as such, the money was already on the account and paid for. as such, why does it matter how the person spends that blizzard balance. pets, mounts, services, or gametime.

I think the problem there, is that you have to disassociate ‘anti Brexit’ comments, from, as you say, antagonistic ones. I have never made a secret of the fact that I opposed it, and I -am- one of those people who it has directly effected in a negative way. Medication I needed to sustain a good quality of life is now not available, and so that Referendum has directly impacted me. I am not happy about it. I can’t see me being happy about it, because we crashed out without any sensible plan in place. I do not think every Brexit voter is a racist (Though I do think almost all racists will have voted for it, that is not the same thing).

I don’t think this is the time for people who got their way, to get angry at people who rightly feel aggrieved by our current situation, which as we are seeing, is not ideal, and is worse than before Brexit.

Now, rather, is the time for those people to put their money where their mouth was, and make it work. It is not for everyone else to do that. It is for those who wanted it to happen, to make it work.

Sadly, most people who voted for it, are not in a position where they can actively make a difference, however they -should- be watching their MP’s like Hawks, Every meeting on the future of their nation that they can’t be bothered to attend should be remembered, every MP or especially EMP (Such as a certain loathsome toad whose last name rhymes with ‘Barrage’) who neglected their role leading to our current Fishery crisis should be remembered and publicly scorned.

We have a right, to be angry. There is one thing worse than a sore loser, and that is a sore winner.

Now is the time for those who believed in it, to prove it. The onus is not on the rest of us. The onus is on them, to prove us wrong.

Not that this is anything to do with Brexit anyway.

Blizzard clearly just don’t like British people :stuck_out_tongue:

(A Joke before anyone takes that seriously)

Update Blizzard WOW maybe in trouble depending who u believe

I think its more a loss in Vicarious Visions being swallowed up into Blizzard than it being Blizzard in trouble.
The Warcraft remake being bad has an effect… but I think you need to see it more as VV probably going to use their expertise with Blizz IP’s.

They have a few that could be revived or fixed, might even see them work with the classic/TBC/WotLK projects.

VV is the one that is getting Activisioned.

you are right in most respects. while there were a lot of comments about brexit, only about 6 were antagonistic (and reported). its maybe just a symptom of those shouting loudest make it seem like they are a crowd where as really they are a few. its just so annoying.

the whole thing has been a mess up. those in charge of it in uk dont want it and thus try to hinder it, and those in eu purposely try to make things difficult. and of course there a :poop: stirers like your named rhyme who just seem to be stiring the pot.

it should have been fairly simple. out of the thousands of rules that bind us, only a couple of dozen needed to change. who ever mentioned pulling out of interpol? or not contributing to ESA? no, they are only saying that to make things look bad. same as your medication which im sorry about, but why did anything need to change there? that was not what any of this should ever have been about, UNTIL they made it about it. both sides. come on, look at the last two people who should have been taking care of it? may and bojo, or maybe the poster boy for it all? barrage! all dont want this really, it just gives them a nice talking point for keeping them in power.

but brexit has taken up too much time in this thread as it is.

edited to not be against the silly reasons it was taken down…

No. i dont expect you to empathize with anything. at this point i just expect you to stop spewing your intolerance.

seriously, how thick are you. each intolerant rant you post just proves my sub-point more and more. this is why more people in the middle like me are getting squeezed to the sides because of idiots like you on BOTH ends of the spectrum.

i’ve tried to leave the subject and move on because im obviously dealing with someone (that at least in this aspect) doesn’t have the mental stability to think rationally.

for the love of all thats holy will you just shut up about brexit. that was my original point. why is brexit being brought up here. it doesn’t seem logical it is the reason as we are talking about prepaid balance being used.

either comment on the thread topic or just go do another pointless protest and stop some more NHS workers getting to work.

but most of all.

SHUT UP!

moderation is one thing, politically connected censorship is another.

Just put him on ignore. The more you reply the more he replies and then you end up getting a ban because you’ve snapped and broken the forum rules all the whilst this really unfair change to how we Brits can purchase game time gets brushed away into a corner because now brexit and your argument is the main focus.

you are right. it just annoys me more now that the moderators and gm’s i’ve been speaking to have taken a side (and the wrong side in fairness) possibly based on political bias.

but again, yes you are right, and yes this is very unfair on uk players. it would be nice if they explained why they actually did it, then we could debate that, rather than trying to come up with all possible reasons, and weighing up the likely-hoods and ethical position of each.

According to that video they actually put more resources into Blizzard (and WoW is probably the most selling Blizzard game right now).

I wouldn’t mind if they pulled a No Man’s Sky on WC3 Reforged and salvaged it but it’s unlikely they’ll commit to that.

Personally, I usually buy the six month purchases, coz I don’t like the idea of being tied down to a subscription, especially since my interest in playing the game has steadily dropped with recent expansions, and mechanics like key dungeons, forced dungeon and raiding built into the story, borrowed power and RNG gear that I abhor.

But that aside, there are people who can only afford the one month purchase every so often, who are now screwed, or will have to scrimp to buy a 2 month purchase.

This is disgusting behaviour Blizzard - and to do so now, in a time of financial crisis for so many low income people, with the current pandemic, and nationwide furlough, and redundancy.

Clearly this is a ploy to get the subscription numbers back up, since they continue to fall each expansion.

How do you figure that, a time card counts as subscription and you can cancel the subscription it as soon as you pay for the month.

Before I knew what I was doing I used to buy tons of Game Cards.

Then I found my payment of choice the £52 per 6 months non subscription. But I can’t to that anymore. Now it’s £20 ish for 2 months. I have no problem with paying to play WoW but I’m disabled with low income so I never subscribe to anything unless it’s like £5 per month etc

It’s the subscription part I never liked
