Changing Gun sounds in wow classic

I have always found OG gun sounds to be obnoxious at best and i remember there being the option to replace it with a custom sound. Given they changed the way the folders are is this possible with classic? if so how would one do this?

Or is there an addon for classic to do this?

I used to have an addon called Gun Silencer that worked. It changed a sound file so all gunshots, even from other players, made a better sound effect.
Not tried to look for Classic version, yet.
