Character stuck with a bowl in the hands

Hey everyone, my character is stuck with a bowl from Brewfest and I don’t know how to get rid of it now that Brewfest is gone.
I tried dying, changing weapons, mounting but nothing worked, and I don’t have any quests to abandon in order to get rid of it.
Any ideas? because this is becoming frustating and it bugs the animations for me and I also don’t have any related quests to Brewfest in my log.
Also sorry if I selected the wrong category for the topic ^^

Try joining a battleground. That tends to remove all buff/debuffs.

Inside I explained and described how it would keep bothering unfortunate players long after the Brewfest closing date.

You’re out of luck for the next 365 days unless someone recognizes this as as a real actual problem.

I have reported the issue both in game and via a ticket the first day of event, along with many other bugs. This was while it still had the high chance of drawing some attention but nothing has come out of it or any other feedback.

I also opened a ticket, this has to be repaired and I hope Blizz will see that a lot of us have this problem, cause waiting 365 it’s not gonna be okay.

I also raised a ticket and posted a bug report - I have 2 characters stuck holding a Brewfest plate. It stops all combat annimations so really affects gameplay (as well as being just very annoying)

Lol no way. This is both sad and hilarious and you have every right to be angry.

The underlined link in my earlier post explains what went wrong and how, but that topic has been locked for inactivity.

I’m not sure that Battlegrounds have the same feature that Arenas do, where all hidden buffs/debuffs would be removed from your character.

Mortemuss, could you please try to enter an Arena (Skirmish) and see how it goes please?

Arena (Skirmish) did indeed remove the Brewfest plate from my hands for both Characters.
