Class Tuning Incoming -- 18 March

Spec is dead, as always, nothing to see here.

Theyre will never allow sp to be fun or effective.

Ty for nerfing guardian druid, we had our fun. I’ll just wait in a corner now till next time.

As for arcane mage, the CEO’s wife is playing one or? Already S tier and you BUFF them?

I mean… I’m genuinely glad BRM didn’t get nerfed but like… I’m shook?

I’m glad I knew better than to roll into the expansion with my main, DOTC bear. I just knew they’d never let us live out the form shifting fantasy, and I’ll never play the slopfest that is Elune’s Chosen. :face_vomiting:

Ew, and I just started gearing mine.

Time to revert back to disc for m+ :dracthyr_uwahh_animated:

Think its a much needed tuning pass.

Last 2 weeks of Mythic 0 did show some good numbers for blizzard i think.

For all the Unholy dks: it will bring the spec more in line.

The gap to other dps was just too big.

I did however expect more “nerfs” to guardian druid tho. But apparently they are buffing blood dk output and prot warrior output instead.

Sadly i havent come around yet to level multiple tanks and play / gear them. So its only protection warrior so far for me.

Ah well, maybe later in the expansion i can jungle some alts around.

Was seeing all the buffs for SP, nice nice…

Then seeing the 40% reduction for psychic link. Pft.

In my opinion, an overall DPS nerf to a spec—especially one in the double-digit range, like 10%, 15%, or 20%—will always feel like cutting off players’ arms and should only be used in extreme cases. I can’t say for sure if that’s the case here, but it does feel a bit excessive. They’ve done such a good job revamping the spec—I’ve been waiting since Wrath to be able to play a necromancer—and now we’ve got a necromancer in full plate. I see no reason why they should ruin that.

Time to gut those ret paladins to the ground.

Too easy too powerful and too many defensives.

But why buff frost dk?

After these buffs; I choose VIOLENCE :fire::ogre::fire::joy::fire:

Why EU only have 30 replies on this thread while NA have like 200+

The difference is massive, is EU dead region? or eu players don’t engage with forums as much as NA does?

People usually post on the US forum because WoW listens more to its US customers than to its EU customers

And currently its early morning in the EU on a saturday? People are…asleep maybe?
US with its timezones, the east cost may be already sleeping while the west has its evening peak.

This patch note must be April fool joke.

You just need to nerf unholy burst in charge of reliable damage. There is no melee left in mytic content now. While first mage sba doing insane damage with ROF you are focusing already death warrior’s Piercing Howl. I mean I can not go one by one , everything is really really bad at this tuning. I highly doubt your people who makes class tuning are data analysts which is working outdated data , and who are not playing game actually no idea about game. I regret that I have bought midnight.

The Ravage nerf is more painful than actually getting hit by Ravage.

Still, it was fun while it lasted.

Seriously. Warlock devs, walk out of town for once and use 5 shards on our main spender UA, nothing happens. It’s so weak I just dont want to press the button. You did a great job re designing the spec but the tuning for single target is terrible.

Maybe it is just time to reroll to one if blizzards favorite children..

What joke is this ? 20% nerf to unholy? I know they are overtuned but 20% nerf? These people behind tuning have always amazed me on how they just do these things , why not just nerf unholy burst and buff sustained damage and than instead of nerfing everything just buff other classes that need it ffs , there is nothing more horrible for a player than waking up on a patch and getting a 20%nerf to damage

Well…This feedback is not based on personal preference or subjective opinions about class design. The core issue is that my gameplay data is collected via analytics and used to drive tuning decisions. This data-driven approach prioritizes min/max efficiency over improving how classes actually feel and play.

That is the main differences between the current WoW team VS most player bases.

First you shift all the burst damage into RoF, then you backtrack from it before the season starts. Then in .0.5. you aim to nerf RoF even further.

Do you even have a design in mind? What the _ is this? At least give back Icy Veins then…

Also, this isn’t tuning - this is in practice a rework.
