The reason Might of Stormwind was removed was due to being “too much of a change for classic”. Well, with Dual Spec and LFG tool, I argue that those are WAY more of a change. Currently getting Rend every week is the BIGGEST headache I have as a player of this game.
Warrior class is the most popular class in Vanilla so this change would improve the quality of life of a huge number of players. Add rogues, feral druids, and ret pallies to this list.
Please just bring it back. You added it before, now there is no reason not to have it.

Best change they could make, is making it impossible for mc’ed targets to gain the buff. Horde only as was intended. Saves a lot of headaches.
Do you think the popularity of warrior has anything to do with how well they scale with buffs like rend compared to other classes?

Alliance is lucky that Rend wasn’t patched during original Vanilla due to TBC being around the corner and world buffs completely reworked. I mean, it’s not like they predicted that Vanilla was going to be a popular version 20 years later…
Alliance is too strong with Rend, imo they shouldn’t have it at all. It would bring more balance to the game since Alliance = Defensive/Strategic and Horde = Offensive/zugzug. Alliance got both.

If they should change anything, it’s repeatable world buffs…More Rend for Horde equals more Rend for Alliance.
IF they bring back MoS, I will never again play Horde. I would just go Human Warrior and facepalm Classic Era on easy mode with no threat management.
might of stormwind was the best change in classic since they lowered the batching window. But the idiotic no changes crowd got their wishes with that one, hopefully blizzard reverses the decision.
WCB on ally is obviously an exploit, so they should just remove it, however that would make alliance much less fun to play and rather pointless to play in a classic that progressed into TBC, especially when they killed off pvp.
Might of Stormwind is by far the best compromise.

I was all for No Changes, but since they added this MASSIVE change of Dual Spec (and LFG tool), I don’t see how they justify removing Might of Stormwind.
It is a huge headache for alliance players to get Rend, but we do it anyway. Why not improve our quality of life? I know you are Horde so you haven’t lived it every week and how bad it is to message people all the time begging them to mind control you, or to have it backfire, etc.
I just hope more Alliance players come forward on this. It really is the biggest headache of an Alliance melee raider.

Its just matter of time till blizzard brings might of stormwind back.
Horde don’t cry you have way better pvp racials and this is old outdated game at this point it will never be 2005 again.
Tbh if these anti changes clowns leave it will be better for the game. I hope you already uninstall classic with dual spec added.

stoneform, escape artist, desperate prayer and fear ward are better than anything horde got.

You picked alliance. Should there not be a difference between horde and alliance anymore? What do you want next? You want shaman on alliance too? Should we just remove the concept horde and alliance just call it the-one-faction? All you demonized dogs know is just to ruin something, and then piss off to some other game after 2-3 months. It’s about quality of life. Alliance already have Rend, we get it in xroads through mind control anyway. IT’s ALREADY HAPPENING.
I just would like to have less stress every week doing so. Blizz already implemented it and then took it away because “it was too big of a change” probably from Horde players complaining like you.
But now that Dual Spec (MASSIVE change, changes everything) is out, there no longer is a reason not to bring back a change that will increase the quality of life of so many players.

only RMT scumbags who sell rend buff are mad that they would need to get a real job. many classic veterans play both horde and alliance and neither of these factions have trouble finishing Naxx.
however there are many braindead raid leads requiring to get rend buff because of min/max culture and trying to get rend is big waste of time and if you don’t have rend you might not get raid spot that everyone competes in to get.
I don’t need shaman on alliance, but I would not cry if horde could play as paladins and I played horde on Anni server I never cared that alliance got might of stormwind as horde player.
I don’t want anyone to be at disadvantage or waste time collecting rend.

I just hope they bring back Might of Stormwind. Alliance already get Rend all the time by mind control in Crossroads, and Dual Spec is already breaking a huge part of the spirit of Classic. Please just make quality of life of so many melee Alliance players better.

you waiting ages for a rend buff which was not intended at all for alliance since day one, but some g33kboys exploited that by getting mind controlled, “pretending to be horde character for so long” and then get rend… well, that is on you. you picked that faction, race, class, now deal with the hassle. you want a free ticket out of it, NO, NO and MORE NO. Cant we just call a spoon for a spoon ffs… period.
