This is not what “Mythic raiders” wanted, this is what the community wanted. Casual players don’t want to go back to having to do hours of world quests EVERY day like in Shadowlands and BFA.
They can release a lot of world quests anyways but just let us complete them semi-weekly anyways. Why do you HAVE to have a 24 hour limit to complete a certain amount? Do a little every day.
While I do feel a bit sad that I can’t do WQ every day right now, I know that in the long run I won’t get bored by these as fast and in the end it will be better overall for the longevity of the game.
Overall I think the decision was correct
Its actually an improvement over past performances. Not talking specific to this daily quest debate but in general. Announcing something then retracting after a negative public’s reaction.
The Blizz I knew was:
Introduce something bad
Players complain that its bad, unneeded and waste of time.
Blizzard goes full defensive “We know better so shut it!”
2-3 patches later
Fine…maybe that was a mistake after all.
So can call it a circus if you like but I see it as a great improvement.
You can still do them everyday, just don’t do them all immediately that’s what I’m gonna do. Going back to more daily content is NOT the way forward and people arguing for it literally want to see the game fail again. Moving away from it has been the right call.
I’m actually very surprised guys that you’re forcing yourself into really optional content… One week of M+ and all of those items from WQs and reps will be obsolete. I’m with Tah on this one. If you feel fomo over cosmetic stuff, gold and items which you throw into trashbin after M+/raids release then you have a serious problem…
There’s plenty of crafting locked behind rep and the new quests are also, this is not a “Mythic raiders want to optimize their characters” argument. We can still get the same amount of rep with semi-weekly world quests but we dont HAVE to do them every day. Why do you feel the need to have the game force feed you content every day?
Also for once crafting actually seems to stay relevant even when M+ and raids come so you can’t use that argument anymore.
What else is there to do right now then? I log in, realise woops, the WQs I did wont come back for several days, log off. I am a M+ player, and as you know M+ isn’t available yet.
No, I am not spending 30 hours farming reputation for items that I’ll replace in 2-3 weeks of M+. (Such as Wrathion reputation)
FORCE? This is your problem and your head. You created some kind of weird “I MUST HAVE IT”. I don’t care about WQs in slightest and I’m going to raid mythic and I’m going to do high keys. But for some people content I like isn’t the reason they play. Some people enjoy just logging in after long day to do WQs in their own pace, but since they reset every 3 days they run out of stuff to do.
This is contrast for them vs Shadowlands, it’s like Blizzard tripled “cooldown” on their content. Imagine being locked for raids for 3 weeks instead 1 or being able to do only 1 M+ per day.
Is it so hard to understand?

This is not a good comparison. If you get the same amount of world quests (which more people seem to be in favor for) but keep the 3 day time to complete them that is MORE like raiding then anything.
You can still do the content every day but you don’t HAVE to do it every day if you want to do it. People can still do world quests every day just don’t do them all immediately. It’s such a niche little group of people that want new world quests ever day and I’m glad Blizzard doesn’t cater to them because that just puts us back so many years. We don’t need more daily content that people feel like they “need” to do. You can argue that people shouldn’t feel like they “need” to do it but that’s the reality for most people so let’s design the game around that instead of designing it around some unrealistic view.
If it’s true (amout of WQs being the same) then OK, I stand corrected.
You’re incorrect.
biweekly
*adjective.
- done, produced, or occurring every two weeks or twice a week.
well in a month when milions of players leave game and only mythic tryhards remain it will show who was the one who fought for this change.
this is yet naother ultra casual unfriendly expansion catered solely to mythic tryhards
gg Ion . you did it again - lied to people and then catered tomythic raiders.

it doesnt - because why spend 1 gold when you can get those items for free in m+
crafting is dead the moment m+ opens.
I get the sentiment of not wanting activities to feel like a daily chore, but at the same time I really enjoy world quests and I feel like there are far too few of them at the moment - especially considering some don’t have rewards I’m really interested in.
If the reset cadence is going to remain slow then it would be good if we had more world quests active overall, perhaps with a more staggered reset rate so that there’s at least one or two new ones popping up each day.
post edited.

OMG, i though that i am only one who will not bother with that
Excellent and please add more WQ’s as well as there aren’t that many around
Sorry to be party breaker, but they decided to not make changes.(for now)
I copied that directly from the dictionary, so you should inform them that they are incorrect.
I dunno. Maybe refresh the world quests 3 times a week? There should be a bit more things to do for people that play the game (almost) every day.
