Welcome to Cooldowns Pending!

Once a small alt-only hideout, now a growing and friendly guild built around good vibes, teamwork and fun gameplay.

We’re turning our little corner of Azeroth into something special - and our neighborhoods :houses: Cooldown Crossing (A) and :houses: Cooldown Shores (H) are oficially open for new residents.

Who we are

Cooldowns Pending is a social-first guild with a focus on:

  • Mythic + (casual to pushy, depending on mood)
  • Relaxed group content
  • Hanging out in voice
  • Laughing through wipes and celebrating wins together
  • Social events
  • AotC focused casual raiding

We may be new, but we are absolutely mighty - and growing steadily with like-minded players.

What we’re building toward

  • Regular M+ groups
  • Friendly, low-pressure heroic raiding
  • A community where people can actually talk, joke and log in because they want to.

No elitism. No toxicity. No trade chat energy

We currently have 2 raid teams for Midnight because we understand real life happens.

Weekend Team - Saturday 20:00-23:00 ST - 9/9N 1/9HC Midnight S1

Weekday Team - Tuesday 20:00-23:00 ST - 7/9N 4/9HC Midnight S1

Who we’re looking for
You’ll fit right in if you:

  • Enjoy M+ and group content
  • Like chatting and being part of a community
  • Are chill, respectful, and bring good vibes
  • Don’t mind the occasional scuffed pull or cooldown mishap :zany_face:

All classes, specs, and experience levels welcome.

Currently looking for raid leaders

  • Prior World of Warcraft raiding experience - raid leading experience welcome but not mandatory as long as you fit right in with the team
  • Chill vibes
  • Clear callouts
  • Clear go through mechanics before pulls

Looking for raiders

Saturday Team:

  • 1 DPS with Tank OS (no paladin)
  • 1-2 DPS with Healer OS
  • DPS

Tuesday Team:

  • 1-2 Healers with DPS OS
  • DPS (at least 1 warlock preferred)

i’m probably biased here because she is a friend, but i haven’t seen any GM try as hard as her to make a guild that actually sociable. have played for many years and honestly it feels like having a Gm from back in 2010 when wow had actual strong social guilds.

After being in more or less guilds that are not really community friendly for many years in retail or classic i joined this one by messaging on discord to @ alecsandra.27

Must say i made a good decision, been in the guild for 3 weeks now, did heroic raid, atmosphere is chill, everyone works together.

I am quite happy with the decision to join and would encourage you dear reader to try it out. Give it 1-2 days to see what its about and if your goal is heroic raid and mythic + with some spice in voice chat most evenings then this is it! Try it out.

I was looking for a guild that understood that real life is more important while also being sociable. I wanted an guild where I could feel like I got to know people and where we could have fun together but without it feeling like an unpaid job.

After having compared several posts I decided to send a little PM to the guild master and have a chat. To cut it short, the day after I joined.

If you want to be in a huge guild with a ton of players online, then you should probably look elsewhere. But if you want a smaller guild with a more family feeling, then this might be right up your alley.

People usually run keys every day. Sometimes higher ones but also lower ones so people like me can join in. There are usually a couple of people being online in voice chat which makes it easier to socialize if you are into those sort of things. Obviously totally volontary.

Oh, a bonus. If you are named/nick named Alex then you really should join. :rofl:

We are also looking for a Raid Leader

Type of Guild: HC casual
Progression: 8/8N MO / 6/8HC MO
Responsibilities of the Role: Coordination, communication, creating a positive raiding environment. Lead & coordinate heroic raid nights, explain boss mechanics clearly and efficiently, call out key mechanics, manage raid pulls, breaks and pacing of the raid. Encourage teamwork and respectful communication. Work with officers to set raid times and schedules.
Current Raid Times: Saturday 20:00-23:00 ST (can be changed)
Benefits: The opportunity to help shape a raid team from the ground up, support from guild leadership, chance of promotion and become part of the officer team.
