Remove corruptions, remove PvE trinkets, change the fact that essence stuff does more damage than many class abilities etc etc. Tune after that so that the pacing is decently fast without corruptions etc.

pve players who are the only one left playing this game would not appreciate losing 500 rating

Well its not funny when someone delete 70% of your HP with corruption proc in GCD… it specialy benefit bursty classes like rogues, mages, locks… and no they not make game intresting, it make PvP dead, because people leave this game in terror because cannto hold their meta shifts.
The main issue is that Blizzard think that people love when they make OP classes and stuff, the truth is only people with brain issues and psyhological conditions love them… Person with normal sanity unuderstands that PvP is about skill, and also understand that better must win… Even after PvP is almost 100% dead blizzard not abandoning their meta shifts, with each season they trying to turn chimpanze into gladiator…stop this for sake of game… sometimes i got feeling they purposly wish to destroy their game
