Yes, tried to include that in my opening statement - among everything else I could possibly do.
I’ve shot a ticket and reported it as a bug, but neither me nor Daiy on US has gotten any recognition for this issue really, besides a GM answering her that she SHOULD have them unlocked - but don’t “for some reason”.
It’s just depressing, cause I sincerely doubt it will be fixed as we’re a total of TWO people who have reported this issue..
yeah it was weird getting those rooms unlocked. For me I got them while doing the armillary quest. My friend got them unlocked by doing the devourer demon hunter questline in dornogal. So i have no clue what the actual requirements are for these rooms.
I’ve done both and neither has unlocked them for me, clearly, sadly
So yeah, … totally unknown what unlocks them - and only 2 of us in the world who seem to have the rooms missing permanently.
I don’t think there are any restrictions, day light room just need level 3 and iirc night room I think it’s level 5. There doesn’t appear to be any other prerequisites now. I believe it was changed to just house levels in pre-patch 12.0, although I didn’t see it listed in the notes I saw.
So you should have them both. Probably why the GM couldn’t answer the issue.
You would certainly see them if you had them as they would be with the other room shapes.
Day and night rooms take a lot of space, so while looking circular are actually a huge rectangle two floor empty ladder room like chunks of space eaters. Also those can’t be placed on second floor and they conflict with anything above them on the second floor. Oh and I think you can’t have both in single house.
TLDR I think your houses room plan is the problem due to day/night rooms placement restrictions.
This is probably the reason. They do connect to my octagon type rooms directly but there needs to be a lot of space as these rooms are very big. If they would collide with other rooms they can’t be placed. I’ve read that using a closet or hallway as a connection also helps but I have not tried that out yet.

This has nothing to do with placement restrictions, aka where I’m placing the rooms.
The Day and Evening rooms do not exist in my placement list at all.
They are completely missing as options. Even on an empty lot.
Any suggestion that assumes otherwise ignores the details I already provided in the opening post.

The issue is that the rooms themselves are not available to place.
NPCs, Decor, Rooms, Layout, Quests: All have been checked.

you can have both an evening and daylight room in one house. You can also put these rooms and empty stairwell rooms on second floors or even higher up unless you have other rooms impacting these. I fail to see though what this has to do with what OP said as they don’t have these rooms available in their list to use at all.
Yes, according to all checkers: We should have these rooms, but don’t for some unknown reason.
We’re 2 people in the world who have officially reported this issue, over on US we have a thread as well.
EU doesn’t provide a Bug report forum, so “Housing” is the closest to it I think - which is why I posted it here.
I hope to bring more attention to the issue, and possibly see if others - besides me and Daiy - have the same issue.
So far it seems isolated to us two.
It’s a very frustrating bug to deal with, as I enjoyed housing, and built 8 versions already - was looking forward to make an outside addition.
I fear this issue might never be fixed tho, cause it affects so few - and the fix is likely very odd spaghetti code gone rogue somewhere.
Saw the post on US side and had to make my debut on the forums after 20 or so years.
Me too, I have this bug aswell!
I’m not sure if its related, but my house went to level 3 instantly due to achievements and what not on the first day of early access, while a friend who does not do as much content had to level manually, and for them it unlocked just fine.
Needless to say all checks from here and the US post have been covered, just here making noise for attention to the cause.
Im glad it isnt as isolated of an issue as we thought, but its of course awful anyone of us has the issue at all.
I tried to see if leveling it to next level, level 7, by hardcore grinding lumber farming and my professions a bit the past three days, but that did nothing sadly.
So even manually leveling anything after this has done nothing for either of us, as Daiy did the same.
Quite an insane bug to be honest, since no rhyme or reason seem to “fix” it from user sides ways.
I have no hope for it to get fixed myself since its so niche, but hearing more come forward with the same issue is sparking hope even if small.
Made an EU account just to be able to post my condolences to those that are being affected by this horrid bug. At least you know you’re not alone anymore.
I did notice, before the prepatch, on beta the same thing happened. I specifically went on beta to test these rooms, to see how big they were and if my ideas at the time would be achievable in there. I put in both these rooms then, could even attach them to the empty stairwell which we can’t do anymore either. I then tested to see if I could place the same room twice, so I got rid of my daylight room and put down a second evening room on the second floor attached to an empty stairwell room, which worked fine.
Literally the day after I wanted to show my husband those 2 rooms, so I deleted my second evening room, but when I went into the rooms tab, both rooms were gone like described in this thread here. Even though I had my lvls and I should have the rooms, they were not in the rooms tab anymore. But the evening room I had placed in my house from the day before was still there. People have complained about this on the beta forum as well.
I saw that a lot of the bugs that were in beta then, like the overgrown grass, and things not wanting to rotate or clip a certain way, got transferred into live with the prepatch. I fear this is one of those bugs that got transferred as well.

A lot of spaghetti code being totally broken now, no clue what the reason for them are.
In Nagrand, by Nessingwary, the entire texture is gone for a lot of people (at least on EU)…
Like… how does this happen?
