Dead servers MEGATHREAD - Ghostlands/Dragonblights plea to Blizzard

A few days away from being 4 months since Blizzcon i find it frankly disgusting the lead dev says we will speak of it and still nothing.

This man needs to be taken to task and give us an answer or atleast offer an apology for the way he treats the player base with utter contempt and distain .

It is really blatant obtuse that 6 years of asking for more connections has been ignored you Ion should be feeling ashamed of yourself players should matter more than money you cant take money to the grave .

i was complaining about crz since it came out. i was farming tlpd and aeonax at the time, before it was grouplooted. so it was very annoying… nobody cares

Right now less than 100 level 120s online on my server faction at peak time. Literally one single 120 shaman on. Can’t find players for mythic raid, and Blizzard blocks cross-server mythic raiding to force us to pay for realm change.

Well… Our guild on AD is looking for range DPS ( Alliance) SO if you want to raid mythic… well … we hope to one day raid mythic  … kind of… one of the reasons we need R-dps

More and more realms are dying. Have they provided any update on connecting more realms?

Nope, we’re all still waiting. Since we’re clearly not getting a quick response after it was brought up at Blizzcon, I am now guessing that we won’t hear anything until much closer to the release of Shadowlands. And of course, we don’t know yet when that will be.

Trying to be positive, the lack of a swift response does make it seem less likely that the response will be “no we won’t do anything”. They could need time to figure out and test what they’re going to do. Fingers crossed.

I’m quite amazed that a SFA havent even replied to this thread yet.

Over a 1/3 of a year has pass since blizzcon and still no news about the now infamous “quick chat with the guys”
6 years ago we told you the connections were not enough and you are still dragging your heels with subs dropping per day.

Draenor alliance is dead. Merge with silvermoon. Thx

Look at that, we still haven’t heard a thing about this issue. Blizzcon: “Soon”. You can tell he was a lawyer. :>

The dead servers aren’t even worthy of a 1 of April joke.
What a disgrace…

And if they did, you’d whine and complain that they made a joke about it.

I guess Blizz won because I paid to move a fourth character off Ghostlands.

I can imagine the fifth happening soon, and then that will be all of them I guess.

Hate to pay for what should be a freebie, but frankly I’d rather cough up the cash than start those characters afresh.

Stormrage is even more dead than before. You can’t even sell auctions anymore. Takes days to sell basic herbs or enchants. If they sell that is.

Retributor is on one of the busiest realms, he just happens to be on the minority faction side. It would probably make Silvermoon and Draenor die if they were merged. Two of the busiest realms there are.

There are lots of genuine realms in desperate need of merging. Sadly we still haven’t heard anything since BlizzCon.

like of all alliance eu then …oopsie

Off the top of my head Silvermoon is an Alliance dominant realm as is Argent Dawn. There are others ofc.

@Punyelf: Correct on all three notes. While not all are big, the following can be added to the list: Outland, the RP 5-way (slightly), the RP 3-way (slightly), the RP 2-way (slightly), Stormrage/Azuremyst… WCR statistics are scarse, but those should be right, at least.

@All: Urgh… One of my other sources just dried out entirely… World wide actives have dropped to zero across the globe.

My realm (Emerald Dream-Terenas) is alliance dominated so as a horde player I am in the minority on my realm. While realms may not count for what you see and experience in the world, it does affect things like guilds. There are only 2 horde guilds on the realm who have completed HC Ny’alotha, in contrast to 21 Alliance guilds. And on mythic, 0 horde guilds have any progress, compared to 9 Alliance guilds. I realise that this is not the norm for many (or even most) players, but there are pockets of Alliance domination out there. At least the auction houses are cross faction!
