Deep Breath Steering - Bug Since Patch (Scalecommander Hero Talents)

Hello everyone,

I wanted to bring up the issue of the Deep Breath ability of Devastation Evokers, which seems new with the latest patch. The steering/control of that ability feels significantly clunkier and way less responsive than before. It’s as if there is either some delay or a reduced sensitivity of movement. This makes precise aiming or adjustments at midflight ridiculously hard in any high-pressure situations like raids or PvP.

I feel like pre-patch, the steering was smooth and you could make fine-tuned adjustments of direction mid-cast; now it feels like I’m fighting the ability to get it to go where I want. It’s actually become more frustrating than fun to use, and it is a core part of our toolkit!

Has anyone else also noticed this, or am I missing something in the patch notes that could explain this? I really hope this is something that will be able to be addressed in some upcoming hotfix, since it greatly affects gameplay.

Love to hear if others are having this problem, and if so, any temporary workaround.

Hey,

It is apparently no longer possible to strafe with Deep Breath and Scalecommander. This was a bug, and has recently been fixed (this could explain why it feels different to you).
