Guy just wanted to have a Finnish guild and faced with an unreasonable backlash of RP zealots who think by bulling other players they can preserve RP on RP server.

You know there are communities for this. This is a forum for a roleplay server. Nothing is stopping anyone to spread the gospel in the game actually.
Besides most of roleplay guilds have their raider core, or raider alts or even guilds. They just don’t advertise on forum.

Picture this.
A guy with an orc character, with an appropriate orc name and tmog who obviously is no threat for over all RP outlook of the server and anyones RP oriented gameplay is looking for his fellow countrymen for casual game.
I don’t know why it is a danger for RP community.
And being shut down so fiercely that the guy just abandoned the idea. There are so many things wrong about that…

Oh wait, there are no other active RP realms other than Argent Dawn. Mh… I wonder why. Probably not due to people who have no interest in roleplay swarming the realms.
Sorry not sorry for defending my hobby. But please, let me know your favorite place IRL so I can buy it and trash it so you can never access it again. I am sure you would enjoy that.
Why not choose a PvE realm then? More suited for it.
There is a formula to it. A real simple formula.
Interested in roleplay? Nice, welcome to AD.
Roleplay isn’t for you? Then you have no reason to be on AD.

I understand your pain and fear. I do feel it too. But attacking like this hardly does it any favors either. It does kind of make us all who like RP look like some sort of elitists, to be honest.

What trashing? OP clearly stated that he respects RP and have no intention in doing wrong towards it. That what I am saying, you fire on everything what does not fit very narrow view of the server.
And if anything, it puts very bad light on RPers alike showing them as toxic elitists, which most of them are not.
Server transfer is not something what player should suggest to another player (not only it invades privacy but also asking them to pay a big sum of money. really?). It’s just rude.

Right, using a realm for its intentions = being an elitist. I shall remember that on my next mythic dungeon where I will roleplay.
Spare me with the trash you write. RP or leave. Really simple. I’ve also heard that “narrow view” line before from some really bad ERP GS guild. You don’t happen to be one of them, right?
Like parking a mount on top of roleplayers for “fun”?

Mate, the only thing you did wrong is you posted on the AD forum. Everything else was fine. The AD forum has a bunch of bored toxics who pretend that they “RP” yet spend all their time loudly demanding that other people RP or get off the realm. You are by far not the first nor the last to be yelled at, these folks yell at everyone. Ignore this forum, recruit via other forums / sites / communities. That’s all there is to it.

Remember when you posted this and people scolded you for it so heavily you left the thread never to appear again? Or when you tried to get more OOCers onto the realm and the PvP community outside of AD laughed at you?
Seems to be weird that the same happens on AD for every time you post. Almost like the only constant thing is… you.
