I have to say something about this as every time a DH NPC says this it annoys me: just look at what they’re saying for a moment - it’s a nonsense. They stand ‘between the Legion and destruction’ means that they are the only thing that’s protecting the Legion from being destroyed.
I know they don’t MEAN that, but that is what they’re saying.
Don’t buy into it.
It’s old Legion-expansion dialogue that felt hypocritical even then. No one really bought into it. It’s just Demon Hunters being Demon Hunters.
Chalk it up to them trying to make it seem like all their eggs in one basket mattered outside of demons.
