Di I need a white item for every legendary upgrade?

Hi all,

Can I upgrade straight from my first legendary to iLvl 235 or do I need to buy all the intermediate white items and upgrade level by level?

You only need a legendary vessel for the rank you want to upgrade to.
So if you go r1-r4. You need to procure a 235 white of the matching type.

Furthermore, the soul ash cost for an r4 upgrade will have the amount subtracted that you spent for the r1 originally. So you never have to pay more soul ash when incrementally crafting compared to making it at once.

I didn’t have 130k so I got the iLvl 225 upgrade. I love Torghast so the Soul Ash wasn’t an issue.
