Until now I’ve loved the last zone of every expansion and spent months playing it:
Timeless isle
Tanaan jungle
Zereth mortis
etc.
The 10.2 emerald zone however is extremely poor and boring to me - a green homogenous blob with no interesting sub-zones or monsters or places to explore or things to do. I don’t want to plant seeds. WoW is not a “facebook” game. I want to fight the scariest biggest ugliest monsters the expansion has to offer in the last patch, not fool around in the kindergarden
thank god i’m here before ''the defenders of dragonflight ‘’ that’ll come and simply tell u no it’s good you’re bad.
i like the zone actually but it lacks interesting sub zones as you said. it’s been hard to find people to kill rares too lately.
lol agreed. a dragon expansion without a single intimidating one
I enjoyed Tanaan but I wasn’t very keen on Timeless, it didn’t have much to do there, lacked structure.
ZM improved greatly once we got flying unlocked there but I hated the change to mounts which put a big dampener on my enjoyment. I far prefer the Korthia type approach.
I do like ED zone, it’s very pretty but I’ve done my grind to 20 so it’s just weekly stuff now.
So, you feel the way I felt about Timeless Isles and Zereth Mortis. Tanaan I didn’t really touch.
I like the Emerald Dream, but I wish it was bigger, and that the fire zones didn’t exist, but I do understand they have to be part of the story.
More content would not hurt, but “more baddies” isn’t what I feel lacking. It’s the Emerald Dream, after all. Some other mysterious events and discoveries would have been more fitting.
Sadly, i have to agree with this. I’ve certainly had the thought that DF content was created by a team that would be better suited to developing mobille apps.
I guess this is the new generation of gaming though and perhaps i’m just getting old too, but i’m finding this style is not for me. I’ve tried to stick it out but i’ve got to the point where i barely login anymore.
The most common reasons for posters to be actionioned seem to be, insults, circumventing the language filter and spamming/trolling. Just from my observations.
Obviously we see some use the flag option as a way to disagree with posters or protest which is not what it’s meant for and those are most commonly restored.
All these zones have a short shelf life. I don’t know how they can improve it.
ZM had scary bad beasts, no one killed them cos “no loot”.
Secrets, tricks and cool stuff gets datamined so people all know it on day 1.
I liked the timeless isle, probably because it was the first of its kind (for me). Tanaan I felt was meh. This place is a nice place to be but not much to do there. They could have made the planting of seeds better, have stuff come to try to gank you and stop the place flourishing or something…
Oh, he’s even in same room with us.
Does he speak with you?
On the more serious note: why you’ve hidden his portrait and don’t want to tell us his name?
