i dont play taht often, and i dont play priest that much at all - i like my melle and i like my mw/hpal healers. but every now and then i hop on my disc priest - rn mostly leveling. and omg - i went in the first few normal-mode leveling dungeons with the old tww setup. i could do damage for sure - but i couldnt heal anything. then i switched to the new logic of oracle disc - and i can heal - but i cant do damage. i thought we were supposed to heal through dealing damgae??? cuz right now it just feels like:
- healing penance - use it for healing and dont bother using it for damage
- mind blast - sure, does some damage, but no big interplay witht he void like in voidweaver
- and why do i even bother spreading atonement? its not like its healing anything.
my bigguest issue is that blizz - you can easily fix this by just upping atonementhealing for voidweaver only. like give us double our current heals with atonement. and if you’re worried about raid - have the double on 5ppl or less only, and keep whatever it is now for the raiders.
cuz lemme say that it feels bad to play a damaging healer that hits like a wet noodle.
