Do a regular check on DK bots in Tempest Keep, Botanica, Blood Furnace, Mana-Tombs, Zul'aman and other TBC dungeons

To destroy these DK bots, you just need to check them every week and give bans. Everything is very simple. Blizzard do it. If you do this, they will automatically disappear from the BG, because it will not make sense for them to level them up there.

Blizzard only do it once ever 6 month if they even do it and even when they bother they only nuke 1% of bots and leave the other 99% scott free.

They will never do this properly

All they need to do is set up a quick check for time online and the amount of times one dungeon played in that time. I’m sure these bots have thousands of runs in one dungeon.

But in my opinion they won’t ban dungeon bots as they never look at them, they only care about BG bots.

Are you suggesting I couldn’t farm a dungeon for 6 hours in a row?

No, but these bots do it for 24 hours or more.

You didn’t get it did you? Whats stopping them from running them for 6 hours at a time?

We both know they run them for far longer than 6 hours at a time.

The point… Whats stopping them from getting several bots running for a reasonable time before moving onto the next bot. You can again, easily just make your bots log on for a lesser amount of time to fool the system.

Until you whiners can come up with a valid way to combat bots, they will continue to plague all the MMOs, I’m afraid we’ll just have to continue to learn to live with them as we have done for the past 20+ years.

I don’t see you coming up with any ideas at all.

dungeon bots flyhack and that has been proven since tbc. You could kill bot x on faction y and spam invite that said bot and the “accept ress” would be replaced by “accept group invite” and therefore getting into groups with them.

Do what you want with that information but its not just botting they dont put action on.

Theres literally a valid way to fight bots in the name of this thread … few GMs actually being in the game could easily hunt them down …

Stop coming here with your BS, surely those 45415341 naked DKs farming stuff like maraudon with names “I fell asleep on my keyboard” are all real players who are farming only 23h59m every day …

The solution is to do something as opposite to doing nothing which is blizz speciality …

Whats preventing them to farm only 6 hours a day ? Greed … they could easily farm quests, or low lvl mobs and noone would care, but spamming BGs was both effective and safe since they never get banned even if people see them …
The more obstacles you give them the better …

There is a valid way to combat (most) bots, but many players nowadays don’t want to use it. Just don’t buy gold.

Any other way requires active game staff doing their jobs, which also most of them don’t want to do (just see how they protested when Blizz told them to go back to the office instead of pretending to work from home).

Biggest problem with your theory is that Blizzard do not care and have no intention of banning accounts paying for a subscription.
