Do Blizzard ever do anything about griefers on HC?

I’ve had conversations with many of the victims and it’s so demoralising for them to be levelling nicely and get reset back to 1 through no fault of their own, and of course the perpetrator is probably sitting there with a big smile on their face. Pathetic.

Four today.

Blizzard, a contract has two sides. You’re failing your part.

Hello, there’s a guy on Soulseeker, a level 30 hunter making pulling Elites etc onto players then feigning.

It’s dozens. If you can’t pass this up to those who can deal with it, please let us know that Blizzard cba. You can’t report them in game.

You have to click their portrait directly to report them which is very difficult for players being griefed, but even then there isn’t really a relevant option to choose from. I’ve been told that mods are more likely to punish the person reporting under the wrong category than the player committing the offences, but classic wow didn’t have HC rules so of course there’s no option … and they won’t tell you which to choose in their support section.

They just don’t want to deal with reports, period.

they have been successfully killing players on and off all day, more reports have been made but no one expects a positive result. Shameful enforcement of TOS.

An at least one more.

Spending more time than I like layer hopping to try to disrupt him.

They logout when they see I’ve arrived in the zone and layer switch when they see me directly, the player rarely takes a day off it seems, always in need of that fix. Multiple players are reporting them mid-act and still no action taken by mods.

Another griefer on Soulseeker. As usual we can’t warn people using the name .

Begins with a G and he’s a mage. I hope that that is non specific enough.

Goblin Mortar trick.

Using AutoLayer to help others, ironic,

What’s even more ridiculous is that there is no appropriate way to report if he’s left the area. It’s as if Blizzard don’t want to know. “Ordinary” reporting does not allow space to say what happened.

Anyway, that’s me.

How about warning people in the realm discord?

No “proof”. Also previous warnings about griefers do not seem to dissuade them.

Warning in-game is not forbidden. Only on this forum is naming an offence, not in General chat.

I just got griefed by a lvl 34 mage out in Westfall. He aggroed a bunch of murlocs and then kited them onto me using iceblock. Shame these idiots still think its fun. A bigger shame that nothing seems to get done about it.
